  • 2003-12-22 21:51:26 Hey, it's in Cranberry! That's not that far from my mom's house. Hell, I'll have to go. Not on Sunday, as I'll probably still be working, but Friday and/or Saturday. All right, that's promising. It's definitely worth it if we don't have to go all the way across town. :)

Won't bother doing anything special for it, and I'll probably try not to buy much, but it's still a cute li'l soiree.
  • 2003-12-22 21:48:04 "You have downloaded 157 local videos."

    *cries*

No wonder my hard drive hates me. ;D

Otakon preliminary plans are in the making, yo. And yeah, there's that Tekkoshocon thing, which I guess I'll go to for a day. Their board was full of obnoxious little snots, but their moms might not let them go; there's still a little hope for that con. ;) I'll have to see where they're having it this year.

But Otakon is the main thing. Road trip!

Christmas starts tomorrow for my sections of the post-nuclear family. Fun! (No, I'm not being sarcastic. It's fun.) I'm not hoping for much anime-related stuff, but I had nudged people toward my Amazon wishlist, so who knows...

  • 2003-12-10 17:38:28 Well, so goes this autumn's editing. Wiped the Trigun vobs from my hard drive and gave it a good defrag, which it desperately needed. I think it went pretty well, all things considered.

(Oh, btw, in case not everybody has been annoyed to death by my plugging, the nicer version of my latest vid is out. :D)

Working on another Utena vid, although it's kind of like my earlier vid "Imaginary World" in that it deals with a side-story and not the central story.

After that - or maybe before it's done - must, must, must get to work on that FFVI Project track. I am so scared of that piece. I'm scared it won't measure up to the others at all. :/ But I guess the only way to know is to jump in, right? Right...

  • 2003-12-07 00:30:49 No help on that problem yet. :/ I guess I can always re-do the work files at a better quality and just fake it, use AVIs for those and AVSes for the others. But that still means re-editing the edits over "are you fine with your surroundings/are they gonna crumble," which is one of the hardest parts to time, dammit.

Meh. Well, I can't delete the source until I get this fixed, so my probably-badly-fragmented D: compels me.

This makes the schmoopy love-triangle vid the most likely #10. That's the one with a song that doesn't grab me anymore because I couldn't really get into its roots.

Could always go the insanely cheesy route and do something like the Cure. I have had a compulsion lately to do something really, really cheesy. My copy of "Galore" is scratched to hell, though...

Can't sleep now, so more riffling through CDs, I guess. It's as good a way to kill time as any.

  • 2003-12-04 18:00:53 Well, I finished the vid in a final burst of "DAMMIT, THIS HAS BEEN UNFINISHED LONG ENOUGH!" determination, but now it won't export properly.

    *breath*

Helping newbies (and idiots) is good for the karma. Please?

    erg.

You know, you'd think I would learn my lesson, after so many glitches. But I don't. I just keep making new mistakes. At least, I say to myself, they aren't the SAME mistakes over and over again...
