Round eleventy-seven! *ding!*

- Re-encoding "The Prince and the Kappa" for sweet little local con that has been totally pwned by out-of-towners from the internet, so I have no chance in hell, but I've already made a promise to someone to attempt public humiliation in this fashion so I'm honor-bound to do it. ;P (She makes AMVs but doesn't distribute them yet, because she's kinda sensitive to criticism. If one of us makes it and the other doesn't for any reason, it might be a little awkward. I hope it works out.)
- Beginning to scan through footage for my first multi-anime project. I don't expect to be done with this one for quite some time, because it's quite fast, moderately complex, and involves scanning through a bunch of series. So it's a long-term goal.
- Compelled to work on Heroic Video. The stars are not aligning for Heroic Video because of the following.
- Prepping footage for Collaboration Video (with The 13th Man, natch). Collaboration Video is short but a little complicated, since I haven't seen all of the main series being used and it's got some ridiculously specific lyrics. But it should be fun.
So I hope it will work out this way:
- Re-encode P&K without a hitch (haha...ha), send in
- Make Collaboration Video; if there's enough space, prep source for Heroic Video
- Make Heroic Video
- Continue/finish Multi Video
Uh, also in there is "prep for two Artists' Alley tables and finish about six costume commissions," so this is not the immediate future we're talking about. Ahem.
In the grand tradition of video editing, I should've been asleep hours ago. The end.

Editing hangover. You probably know how it is. Geesh. Sleepytime.
I shouldn't decide already what's next, because if I start a new video right after the last one ends, I tend to burn out. However, enthusiasm is a good motivator, so it could theoretically go either way.
I am presently torn between Manic Furuba Video and Cynical Eva Video. I think I'll go with the Furuba one simply because I am terrified as hell to make an Eva video. It seems to be in that stage where it's old enough that everyone has gotten sick of it, but not yet old enough that people start remembering what they liked about it in the first place.
Third in the lineup is a Scrapped Princess video, but I am still not sure about which version of the song to use. There are a few covers that might work better than the original. Also, after Kaleido Star, Magical Play, and Piano in one year, I don't want to get stuck in an Unsung Anime rut. ;)
First, sleep.

I'd say "hell yes" if it weren't wildly inappropriate for this video

It's one of those "minor" videos I can't seem to stop making between the fun ones, but I had a good time editing it. It's better than my last dramatic video, so that's a start.
There were only two other "Piano"-only videos on the org, so I hope there was room for a third. ;)

WF, 29, ISO CB/SH AMV

What happened to the Cowboy Bebop / "Letter to My Future Self" AMV? Saw it at Otakon. Never turned up on the org. I finally remembered to get "Peter 'Cabbit' Book Report," so that's the last Otakon video that I wanted to get. Hm. There's always one or two. Kinda reminds you that there's a world outside the org. ;)

New icon/avatar - and wow, we have doubled filesize limits now! <3 - is from Piano. Miu and a random woman on the train. I happened to notice that particular extra and liked the way the two of them looked framed together, even though it's terribly misleading. :p
I also have a couple of Akiko icons made up, but Akiko's too perky. I like her, but she's too perky to use as an icon. Heh.
