>> 5. Banner ads must have correct spelling and grammar. >>
Dudes. Dropping the ball. So badly.
Rather than carping about the everlasting suck of the banners, I've decided to try to make some. Mine may also suck, but at least I'm trying, rather than just whining. Walk the walk for once, onee-san. ;)
Won't be until after the new logo comes out, which is okay 'cause I have to do a ton of screen capturing anyway.

I got a bashing review! Aaaaahahahaha!
I'd be happy and not just amused if it actually bothered to explain anything (I got a great "I don't really like this" review for "Like Me" that was *very* helpful), but the reviewer was just a random "you suck" nimrod. Thanks, that was terribly helpful.
I love you, org. Really I do.
I've felt not all that inclined to edit lately. It's fickle. But it's just as well; I have to get cracking on this year's cosplay commissions. I've also decided (dammit :|) to cosplay myself, for the first time, after dressing up other people for some four years. Sohma Kagura from Fruits Basket. Yes, the pig. ;) Her clothes are sweet, and she's a fun character.
Anywho, I hope to bend my effort toward that for a bit. My editing mojo is so weak that it's best not to force it. If inspiration strikes, go with it; otherwise, don't try too hard. It just gets frustrating.
The end.

"The 2005 VCA Semifinals Begin The semifinal round of VCA voting has begun. The purpose of thise round is to give videos that are slightly less well know a better chance at a position in the final round. Good luck to those who made it this far."
Huh? It's not necessarily a bad idea to have two rounds of voting - it's useless, but that's okay - but what the hell does that have to do with "less well-known" (there's an "n" in "known," btw) videos making it?
Round 1: The ...what was it, 20 most popular vids make it to round 1.
Round 2: The 5 most popular vids out of the top 20 make it past round 2.
Which could be accomplished just as easily by taking the top 5 IN THE FIRST PLACE.
Of course, it's fun to vote, so it's not hurting anything, but coming up with some illogical excuse like "it helps lesser-known videos" - huh? - is pretty stupid.
I voted in round 1, so I'm not going to bother with round 2, I don't think. There's no point.
I'm sick and cantankerous, whee. I had thought that there were two rounds of *voting*, not two rounds of *nominating* - like Survivor / [foo] Idol, y'know? - and I'd been looking forward to downloading and voting. This, this is just a repeat of what we've already done. Pretty stupid.

Best Coding Thing Ever Seen on the Org

That THING that highlights the videos you've given stars for. OH MY GOD does that make this whole thing SO much less painful. I wouldn't have remembered everything I've seen last year, point-blank, and reading every last listing and thinking "Did I see that? Was that...?" would be hell. Hell, I tell you!
Well, maybe purgatory.
So anyway, ganbatte, and I am OFF to San Antonio to visit Mom. Who just, y'know, decided late last year to pack up and move. But I'll be gone for a week. To where it is WARM. w00t.
Well, I'm not off *just* yet, but soon, and I expect this to be the last time I swing around the org before vacation.
...this entry is full of qualifiers and really isn't as dramatic as it sounds.
Except that Best Coding Thing Ever.

"Man on the Moon" is available. So is "The One I Love," but I'm indifferent to that song, kind of (oh, the blasphemy).
Just sayin'.
This is directed at no one and everyone.
The end.
