Oh...right. If I upgrade my OS (it's looking like Win2K, right now...eh), I'll probably have to finish this video first.

...but first, I mess around with floor wax for my other other hobby. I'll get to it. yes. eventually.
My U2-fanatic sis wants to know if anyone's done a Trigun / Love & Peace or Else video. *searches* ...'course they have! Just one, surprisingly. Actually? Like two days ago. What about that.
There are, however, three Sunday Bloody Sunday / Trigun videos. I *told* y'all that was the perfect song for it. ;)
Though I wasn't nuts about the match (L&PoE is too long for my taste) I would've considered making one as a favor of sorts if it hadn't been done. But it has, so that's that. I'll see if they put it up on local. I mean it's somebody's first vid, so I wouldn't want to poach it anyway. -

So you would think that it would be a *bad* idea to get in at 3:45 a.m. with two cups of coffee in your system (after abstaining from same elixir of life for a week, mind you) and immediately start editing a new project. You would THINK.
And yet. I've only had five hours of sleep since then, but I think I can safely say that I love this so far. Oh yes. Well, all ten seconds of it.
I'll sensibly balance this with all the other crap I need to do. I will. Even if I have to make charts and/or resort to bribery.
I usually don't mind having no cable (that's what DVDs and The Internet are for), but yeah, FMA and Samurai Champloo. :/ It's a blow to my nerd ego when people I arm-twisted into watching anime in the first place are informing me about how cool a new series is and know more about it than I do. SOB. But only facetiously; I'll take that as a recommendation (and a sign of victory on the arm-twisting, mwahaha). For my long, long, LONG list of stuff I want to spend too much money on.
I am, at least, getting FMA on DVD now. I'm up to vol 3, the last as a birthday gift yesterday. ^_^ squee. (That and the first book of Angel Sanctuary. Dude, you know, I have never had friends as nerdy as I am before. This is fanfuckingtabulous.)
Okay, I need to get off my ass and do something realworldy-constructive-like. But yay, new project. It's fairly freeform (that's a fancy word for "it has no freaking plot"), so I don't think I'm going to get stuck. As long as I keep scanning and finding good clips to go with that little noise that goes "woooo~", that kind of thing.
Oh, and it's not SKU! OMG WTF! I'm actually lending out SKU shortly. Please, get it out of my hands before I do YAStBSKUAMV. plz. XD -

It was cold this morning, and now it's approx 1.6 hojillion degrees in here. Gah. /randomPAbitching
160 videos recorded, 12 CDs' worth. I'm up to May 2003, plus the 03 VCAs, which I think were actually run in early 04. (The stack got a bit out of order.)
I keep thinking I should start editing, but I think my wrists would shatter. Soon. (It doesn't directly conflict with my cosplay deadlines, because I edit later at night when I can't run my sewing machine for fear of pissing off the neighbors *breath*).
...but I should probably work on that anyway.
Otherwise, being forever behind the curve, I am addicted to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance and Katamari Damacy. That is all.

I'm cataloguing all the AMVs I have burned to CD.

I only hope to make it through 2002 tonight. There are only 9 discs from that year.

The same cannot be said for 2003 and 2004, I'm afraid. 18 discs in 03 and 28 in 04. 7 so far this year. Although some of the 03 and 04 discs are MEPs... not many. It's a haul.
Still, I'm getting a little sick of trying to find some old video that comes to mind and staring at the Box Full O CDs and going "uh... yeah." So in the long run it should be useful. And hey, I'm being reminded of all this stuff I saw wayyyyyy the hell back when I first started watching these things. It's kinda fun. It's just that searching for the missing bits and pieces of info is a little tedious. Sorry for the server load, org. :)
