Gaaah! I just thought of an idea that I absolutely love. Now I have to finish the one I'm working on now, so I can finish the one after that, and then get to this one. Maybe. Or I could do the other one, with the same source as the first one, so as to be more organized. Or I could finish the one I've had half-done for months on end.
Since when do I have too many ideas?! Eesh!

On impulse I looked at one of the New Vids on the Block, and the description ended with "Ignore subtitles."
WTF? No. Am I going to go on a date and say "Ignore bad breath, sickly skin and poor conversational skills"? No. Because I'm not an idiot and I'm not too lazy to observe basic hygiene. If you TRY and slip up a few times, that I will ignore. But "I can't be bothered to even attempt not to suck"? Nope.
My fandom needs to shape up. Though I do know one good video from it... it's... one video. sigh.

Evil scientist tamed. Video in progress. Slowly.
All of those banners along the lines of "You're allowed to be yourself here..." or "You're accepted here..." or "Your true home," or "Your haven from the EVIL REAL WORLD WHERE THE KIDS ARE MEAN TO YOU WAHH," are fairly common and I find them incredibly fucking depressing. It's the internet, not therapy.
I'm glad I didn't have the net when I was in high school. As much as I hated being a socially retarded dork, I *did* have to learn how to deal with the real world and with things I didn't enjoy. It's a useful skill. I didn't have that concept of a magical world where everyone is just like me~! because ultimately, such a world is mentally unchallenging.
Go out into the world. Learn how to explain your dork-ass hobbies without sounding like a fanboy ("Well there's this guy *breath* and the spaceships *breath* and and and and ten minutes of explanation of fine plot details that nobody cares about until AFTER they've seen the show..."). Understand that not everyone is like you, and that that's a good thing.
The org is not your true home. It's a website. Where you can come to have fun. But ultimately, just a website.

Software works. Now I have to decide what to make. I should finish Crossover Humor Video, but I'm not feeling it right now. So much damn work for so little payoff. Meh.
