WHOA never mind the upcoming project. Extremely bad news from the betas. Holy hell in a handbasket.
Which is a little ironic, since it's all about sticking to your dreams and not giving up, but I hear that it makes no sense and I'm like "AAAAAAAGH FUCK THIS THEN!"
Which is why, I suppose, I make videos *about* people with determination. I have none. ;)

A Quick Comment said that "The Acceptance Speech" was "the most worked on" video they'd seen - if that means... the most effort or time, Iiiiiieeeeeeeeerrrr... uh... doubt it.
Folks, "TAS" took four days to make. Four non-consecutive days, since when I started the fourth disc hadn't quite come out yet, and four days in which I worked really hard, but... still... four days.
Some AMVs take years to complete, ppl.
Credit where credit's due.
Back to something which is not editing that I am slacking off of right now. -_-;

I am not making a video of this, but:

I could make a mint
Fill my pockets with more than lint
I'll give you a hint:
It involves "the internet"
I can be that
But soon you'll see that
I will never do anything
I can be that
But soon you'll see that
I will never do anything
...
Someday the video will get done. Someday I'll get sick of sewing and load up on coffee and edit till 2 a.m. again. Someday I'll start something new!
But not today.

Welllll, never did release a full-length AMV this year. I doubt I'll finish Ganbatte x Infinity in the few hours I'll be home tomorrow. ;P I did get a lot of work done on two different videos - that and another one which I hope will be finished next year - but never actually finished one.
2005's editing:
- I finished the Sakaki profile in the very last days of 2004, so there's kinda that.
- MEP track, The Great Beyond, for REM Sleep (January)
- First live-action fanvid, Sabotage (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) (April)
- A quickie / gag video (July)
...and the rest was taken up by those two still-unfinished projects. Feels like more than that little list lets on. Heh. I think I still learned some things this year, despite the low output.
And on we go. :)

Oooh, nobody seems to have done Depeche Mode's "I Feel You" before. Hello, fascination with villainry. Again. Hey, the other villain video of mine was DM too; that'd be cute.
However, I only have two series that would fit the bill (YnM and Utena), and I've already worked both of them to death. That and I'd have to get a fresh copy of SoF&D, since mine is scratched through that song. "Get Right With Me," my favorite, is fine, but I have no ideas for it.
Speaking of repeating the same band, I always thought it'd be a long time till I did that, and if anything I'd make more than one U2 AMV. But... nope. I've done two REM ones and am working on a second Duran Duran - which is especially weird, since I don't even count them among my favorite bands. I like them okay, but they're not in the top ten. Just worked out that way.
Back to work! (Christmas-present-making, not AMVs. That's later.)
