Thanks to all. But really, don't expect much. O_o
Anyway, I hope to finally get my computer fixed up and upgraded, so I will be without .org for at least a week. Dumb timing, but I had planned on doing that as soon as this project was finished, and I'm a little impatient.
So please don't think I'm an ingrate. Computer's in the shop. Honest.

Ahh, yes. It's uploading to my off-org space right now, and then the org one will go up.
In retrospect,
1) I wouldn't have guessed that the first band I'd use twice would be Duran Duran. They're vaguely in my top 15-20 favorite bands, probably. Just turned out that way. (Though I've never had a Duran idea that I have considered and not done, or started and not finished. As far as I can remember, anyway. I've just had these two, and done them.)
2) This is my most typical video yet. There's nothing really spectacular about it - I hope it's entertaining for ~4 minutes, but that's about all I expect. And it's the me-est one yet. At least IMO. We've got shoujo and determination and blah gearing up into warm fuzzies and transparency and screwing around with color and additive dissolves and tacky pop music. It's like the bastard child of ALL of my previous drama videos. ;P
It's cute, though. I have to say, if I get bitched at for video quality, GRARGH. See, in my opinion, it's all about Is This Video Worth the HD Space factor. A really good video is worth the real estate and the download time. If it's just okay, I get pissed off if the file size is over 50 mb. Because there's no REASON to be huge. I have done this before, and I'm annoyed at myself for it. And I have to admit, if there's a video that I intend to keep, it's not spectacular but I'm attached to it anyway, and it's unnecessarily huge (full resolution, uncompressed sound), I will compress it for my own use. Hey, I "only" have 80G here and most of it goes to my own source files. Gotta be ruthless
So I don't think this video is worth 60 MB of disk space. Is what I'm saying. It's worth about thirty. So that's what it gets. I did make a MPEG version just to see how it would work, and it's 174 MB. It's gorgeous, but it's gigantic. If you want to download *that*... well. :P
So anyway, VIDEO THAT IS DONE, HURRAH! -

That week off was refreshing. Gave the fixing ideas time to hit me at random. Which they did. And now FINALLY it is very near done. I am dead tired, but I will be smart for once and finish up the encoding and such tomorrow.
