Well, that... .... ...yeah.
You know when you spend about six generally enjoyable hours working on image sequences one day only to find a beta review that basically tells you that everything you do is wrong, not in a nice direct tone that treats you like a rational adult, but in passive-aggressive sarcasm-speak about "AMVs in general" and such?
That kinda...sucks.
...
It would be too much suck to kill this project again, and too much work to redo everything. I just... ...yeah.
I'd cope with my shame in the usual way, by starting another project, but I've lent out the source I was going to use for it. Haha.
(Yes, as well as the source for this one. There are three box sets out right now. I am a lending machine. Spreading the love, by force if necessary. <3 Besides, I'm running out of shelf space otherwise.)

Tried looking at the old project file... it crashes every time it's opened. Oh crap. :D

I can learn, I swear I can.

I want to do something in a video that would use the same technique as a previous video, except that I DON'T REMEMBER HOW I DID IT ARGH. How silly is that?
Technically I could revive the old project file and look, but I don't have the source files to open it properly; I've lent out the series it was made from. But I'm getting just a smidge desperate. Bleargh!
Memory. First thing to go. :P Though I guess I shouldn't expect myself to remember a trick that I've only used once, two years ago.
Still. Embarrassing. :D

Dub!Nii sounds like some dude I know whose giggling habit creeps me out. Which is also funny. XD Evil 8, hawt 0. But that's okay too.

Tell me what kind of videos to make next and I will kill you. ^_________^
Speaking of the immortal line, the Saiyuki dub is populated by frat boys. It is hilarious in possibly the wrong ways, and bears very little resemblance to the original. I'm amused. I haven't heard Nii yet, though. Why is it that the characters in fiction that entertain me most are the sort I cannot STAND in real life? Maybe because I only have to put up with them for 22 minutes at a time. Hm.
(Yes, I know. I watch dubs when I'm scanning for footage. I am not a visual person, so if I'm reading then I'm not looking. It's also easier to avoid being distracted.)
I wonder whether the Death Note movie will spur some fans to edit live-action for the first time. That's an interesting thought. Anime fandom already has some crossover with Japanese live-action fandom, like Battle Royale - but this is pretty direct. I guess we'll see.
