BAHAHA, I lent out Genshiken today. SUCCESS. I've been super-keen to spread that particular virus, so I am enthused.

I couldn't fit all my stuff on my entertainment center if I actually had it together all at the same time... I may send a couple of manga series to live with my sister because I've run out of space for them. The series that we both read, I mean.

I comment on this because a) I think people overlook the value of borrowing and renting, and b) there was a time not so long ago when my ex and I were the only people I knew who liked this stuff, and the only source we had for new entertainment was a little independent video store where we rented tapes. If you would have told me at that point that I'd haul over a series on very little provocation that I'd bought after lending it from someone else entirely, then lend that out, look through THEIR even more otaku shelf of stuff and borrow something in return... I'd laugh at you.

I'm very sorry. If you watch that part of the show (eps 14-21), it may help. But...then again, it may not. The show is almost as confusing as the video. ;)
