I made an AMV. eeep. Yes. Actually, really, really did. And I have to tell you folks, I am very scared to put it up here at all--it's my very first attempt, you know, and while I think it came out pretty well, there are some pretty glaring things I know people will tear my heart out for--you used a compressed digital file! It's not DVD quality! Blah! I wanted to make this video. I wanted to make it now, not when the DVDs are released int the US two years from now. This is also, unfortunately, the cause of the other problem...little eyecatch from the TV pops up when I used footage from early in an episode. Not so good. Okay, maybe I could have found it without that, but let's chalk it up to...I'm lazy. which is not an excuse. But I have a day job, you know? So this is not my life and I don't have all day to sit around and find and download the entire thing AGAIN. Sorry.
so, in the end, I'm scared to post it, because judging by the guides, you're all going to kill me if I do. o.O But I might just have to put it up anyway....

It's been a very, very long time since I was here. Suddenly I feel the urge to make banners again. What's really strange is that a couple of the recent banner winners seem to have..er...copied...a couple of the animated gifs that I made for the previous logo exactly. Yes. Really. And then they just put color of the rest of the banner to cover the old logo and my text. These two are specifically two with a Rozen Maiden character on them. I guess I should be flattered that a year later, someone still liked my banners enough to do that...but I'm also a little annoyed, since if I go back and use my won ideas or something similar again, now it looks like I'M the one copying.
So....weirdness. I always loved making people blink. I'm going to keep doing it. But...

Haven't made a banner in a while...honestly, why bother right now? I'm waiting for the new logo....hopefully it's got lots of adjustability to it. I didn't like the colored ones because they would have been really hard to tweak in photoshop for nifty effects like we get with the old logo. Nyquil says that it's time for me to sleep...but...somehow, I'm still typing....
