  • AX 2003-07-09 22:21:25 Wow that was a great convention. That was a lot better than last year. Well due to the fact that I'm anxious (and because my teacher ordered me to) I am going to save up and get some good video equipment. I just recently got a job so I should be able to start saving soon.
     
  • Some catching up 2003-05-18 01:19:29 Well since it's been over a year since I've written any journal entries, maybe I should do some catching up. One, my video didn't get accepted to the Anime Music Video Contest this year, I've grown a strong interest in the works of Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli, and I also havne't made another video since Headache last year. Hoerver I made a couple before that one. One I titled "Cross X8". A combination between Megaman 8, and Megaman X4. I considered it sort of like an alternate opeining to the games together. I also made another LUNAR video entitled "LUNAR Chronicles 2". For this video I used LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete to the Escaflowne movie theme, Sora. I also promised that as soon as my friend is finished with my video card, I will actually upload a video. 
  • Long Time No See 2003-05-13 19:11:44 Well what do you know, it's been a long ass time since I've written here. I can't describe it, but I get this great feeling when ever I come here. I guess it's because it reminds me of when I first went to Anime Expo. That was a fun trip. Unfortunatly I couldn't enter the AMV contest this year due to the face that I'm not in my Graphic Arts class anymore so I have no source to make AMV's until I can get some of my own equipment. I have a video card but all I have are crappy programs like VidoeWave 4 and Microsoft Movie Maker. At least with my new, and very cheap, video card I can finally post my AMV's. That is as soon as my friend gives it back to me. I can't wait. 
  • Anime Expo Music Video Contest. 2002-04-25 23:23:21 I really gonna do it. Last year I saw some of the most amazing AMV's I had ever seen.(To be honest I'm mainly talking about Memories Dance and Tanted Doughnuts) When I saw those videos, a milion ideas shot through my head at once. I'm really excited to see if my videos are god enough to be in the contest. I will be entering my second AMV titled "Life as as Dream."( Tenchi Muyo: In Love 2), "Lunar Chronicles"(LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete with the Chrono Cross opening.) and my majior project "Headache"(I'll tell you what it is if it dosen't get accepted). I look forward to seeing you at AX2002! 
  • MORE BAD NEWS! 2002-04-16 16:09:28 20th CENTURY FOX HAS AQUIRED THE RIGHTS TO PRODUCE AND DISTRIBUTE A DRAGON BALL Z MOVIE AS WELL! NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! WHEN WILL IT STOP?!! How the hell could you possibly make a movie about DBZ? It won't make any sense to make a movie based on a show that takes place after one serise and before another. Dragon Ball GT will be airing on Cartoon Network by that time anyway. If 20th Centery Fox is so interested in DBZ in the first place, why don't they buy the rights to release some of the 9 DBZ movies that have not been released yet in America theatrically yet. They already have a herd of game based movies coming out anyway. Crazy Taxi, Soul Caliber, Resident Evil Nemisis, Tomb Raider 2, Max Payne, Silent Hill, Mortal Kombat 3 (by the way I'm not lying), the list goes on. Three of these are due before the end of this year. Doesn't anybody have any originality anymore?
