Nothing too interesting abt AIMS2...today's lessons focused on communication skills and we have to do some role-playing..( one playing the agent and the other, the prospect). It was boring! Just pure memory work and some of the lines are really cheesy !!
One particular line gave me the shudders when i tried to say it out :
"I'd like you to trust my professsionalism and more importantly my respect for our RELATIONSHIP to know i would do nothing to hurt this."
This will probably scare my female prospects away.
Lunched with Annie alone at the foodcourt. Its great talking to her as a FRIEND. And she sounded so much more intelligent than some pple i know (oopps) Found out she's a PR who's been in singapore for onli 6 months. I'm rather lucky compared to her as i had the Today's parents exhibition to reply on for contacts and have a bunch of rookies like me under an understanding manager. She, in contrast have few frens in Singapore and a "demanding" manager who , to me just wants to boost his own record by pressurising his agents.
We were approached by this person who is working for Planet Hollywood and offering a membership card for 20 selected pple to sample their food unlimited number of times for 39 bucks onli!! What a steal but since she's like disturbing us while we were still eating , we had to shoo her away. How to think of it ....what a waste !!
Supposed to meet Anne after work to pass her some stuff but (typical of me) i forgot. This is all because...
...David wanted me to make some calls in the office to see how i got about it ... I got so stressed up making up first call...i kept flipping the rate book over and making sign laguages to David who was busy scribbling hints (for me to say)on a piece of paper. She was paranoid about meeting me coz she have the impression that i'm going to sweet-talk her into buying stg she might not need. Anyway, she's looking at a very low premium rate, stg very close to the minimum we can offer..and we reached a decision whereby i have to send her the quotations , call her up before meeting up.
After the uncertainty surrounding my first deal....i can't afford to fail in this one ...it will seriously affect the morale of .... ... ............most people but not ME !!! I'm the kind who will not get discouraged easily..after all i'm part0time and currently schooling so the pressure for me to produce is much lesser than the other rookies/graduates. But on the other hand...i feel i am obliged to produce for my manager who has so much trust in me. She's a nice person..always helping me and not giving me any pressure at all.

2 different phone calls (while i was on bus to school )gave constrasting changes to my mood today
The first made me the happiest guy that day (something that also made me a very happy person a week ago) and the second just sank me back to square one (i can't believe my luck)
I can't disclose those stuff here coz they are private..i've got a seperate private entry on this though but i can't let anyone read those...
Alas..you can't win it all...but i'm definitely looking forwad to lunch tomolo :P
Found out that one of the projects available for NCS is based in Temasek Poly. That's GrrrrrrEAT !!! Think of the transport money i can save on..ard $50 per month which adds up to abt $300 in 6 months. Thats prob the onli possible way i can get an attachment ike 3 minutes away from my house (by walking !!).

Debited 350 of my NSS into POSB. I'm kinda short of money these days.
Watched Monster INC....it is kinda funny but that is all it is..just funny but one shldn't expect too much from fully 3-d animated movies i guess.

Read thru some of my past entries and to my horror , the grammar and spelling were attrocious !!! Its 'heating up' not 'hotting up'..you fool !!!
Just watched Replacement Killers on TV. To be honest, the show bore me half to death. It was a pain watching it. What happened to the pigeons , 'flicking the gun with the heels' and the 'floating in mid-air while we shoot at each other' tricks? But then again, this show is not directed by John Woo...or issit ?? Does anyone really care?.
Trying to stay awake while typing this..there's no reason for me to be writing this other than to stay awake ( signs of drowsiness seeping in as i write ) *hic*

Things are hotting up fast

Hail the Pruquote!!!! It made life so much simpler and hassle free ...the stupid 25 page quotations form i had always feared doing can now be done in a matter of minutes thanx to the software.
Have to go down to the dean's office the next day to choose a project for my Industrial Attachment. 3 hours of travel time for this trivality. Why can't we choose online or something..this is the information age for goodness sake !! NCS NCS NCS !! Why am i not excited at all going there ??
Issit the fact that i have to meet up with 24 other pple from EE3. This is going to be so awkward ...
I am a strange one..whie others are rejocing the fact of working with pple they already know..here i am groaning and whinning again :)
Have to see what happens next.
Aims 2 is coming this wednesday ..i can't wait !!!! Man, if onli NUS lexturers are all as interesting as them...7 hours of lecture ?? No problem at all !!! Those NUS lecturers need to be tied down to a chair and forced to watch a " How to open ur mouth without pple falling asleep " video over and over again 1000 times...AT LEAST.

Something really good happend to me today. I broke my duck. :)
SGTS is underway. I'm the onli member without a proper website. I wish my old websites are still around..it seems everytime i designed a website i really like..something has to go wrong and i have to drop it. I'm actually a quite competent website designer ok???...haha enuff of bragging.
Bye Bye Nakiyume...bye bye Takumi's Shrine. Due to a overwhelming popularity, my site has to be taken down despite havig a limit of 30GIG of bandwidth. But i'm not complaining a bit; the domain belonged to NAKI anyway and i wondered what has happened to him coz his other site is down too. Anyway this is what i wrote to him:
