I received my brand new Eva box set today. I ordered it from BarnesandNoble.com since it was $99 there.....probably could have found it cheaper somewhere else, but I looked all over and I finally got tired of looking and bought it. Being new to anime, I decided it's high time to watch Evangelion. My anime collection is starting to grow....Since I can't rent anime around here I gotta buy it. So I have a few fansubs, and a few non fansubs. There are a couple of anime titles in my library system, but apparently they are all checked out right now.. And some people dont like returing things on time so I have to wait for them to return the DVD's.
Well I guess thats all for now.. My right shoulder hurts -

Hmm.. I taped the series finale of the X- Files cuz my dad was watching Tv in the living room (thats the only Tv that has the cable box and everything). Plus I was reading my alien book and watching my brother play FF7 on my TV (my Tv is only used for viewing tapes on the vcr, or DVD's on the PS2 or playing videos games... mostly for the last two). I love FF7 so much I sit there for hours just watching my brother play. Hes a very good player (hes 4 years older than me). One of my favorite parts of the game is when you revisit Nibelheim... and everything is there, like it was 5 years ago. The first time I played the game and I got to that part I got the shit spooked out of me (well not really but it was weird). Along with that song playing in the background ("Anxious hearts" one of my favorite from the soundtrack) and those mysterious black cloaked guys walking around tlaking about Sephiroth.. jeeez. And then you read the letter on Tifa's desk explaining it all... Oh boy. OK enough FF raving. I do that too much.
Anyway the point of the above paragraph was really to say that I am gonna see the X Files finale tonight on tape (not that anyone cares). Its been about 2 years since I stopped watching the X Files religiously. Ive watched a few episodes in between and read some stuff about it so I know basically whats going on.. Well enough of this.
On a final note, I hate my job. -

Monday, Monday, Monday.. I HATE MONDAYS!! ::sigh:: Time to go to work again.
In other news, yesterday was my 18th birthday. That's about it for nhow. Dont have much to talk about. I am reading this book about alien abductions. It's freaking the crap out of me. Couldn't walk around my dark house last night. I had to turn on some lights. I don't know why I continue to spook myself with these types of books. But a new Dragonlance book is supposedly to be released in June. At least I know that won't give me the spooks. - 2002-05-16 08:30:32 Fuck. My school situation just got worse. So I didn't hand in my final English paper. How the hell was I to know that I would get an incomplete cuz of it? Damnit. Now I seriously feel like crap. But being that I brought this upon myself, I deserve it... UGH Myabe, just maybe it's just a temporary incomplete... Just there until I get my real grade. Yea right. I might have to lie again and tell my professor I left it in her mailbox and it must have gotten lost. That means I have to finish it today at work... With all the lying I've done in my life, I am sure going to hell. Oh why must I do things so backwards?
- 2002-05-15 08:16:40 Cool. They have anime in my public library system (which is made up of like 20 libraries or soemthing). Hmm only thing is that some libraries are kinda far from where I live and I dont drive. Oh wait. They can send the item to my local library. And they have new books about anime, which is good cuz I am kinda new to anime... Coolie!! I am going to Chinatown with my brother this weekend. YAY
