Why do all these morons keep making Linkin Park AMVs?! Heads up, fools! There is an infinite amount of music beyond that one horridly overused half-ass band! Email me if you need song recommendations that badly! I'd rather send you a song or two then see the number of Linkin Park videos go up another video.
I guess a decent portion of the people on here make crappy "tribute" videos, often low quality and with subtitles, because they finish watching a show and want to celebrate it in some way, but MAN! If you're gonna do something, do it right! Take the time to get the job done!
Honestly, does anyone else care to see a poorly-done Linkin Park video? Especially one with subtitles, or even better if it was put to DBZ, Naruto, Bleach, or Evangelion! Ugh...find something new, please.

Editing on a New Level

I'm done with DVDx, Windows Movie Maker, and all those simple programs. Unless I hit an absolute wall, I'm gonna figure out these complex programs so I can get excellent quality footage and edit with more success, precision, and improved results. How do I feel about all this? VERY overwhelmed. I'm reading through the AMVapp in the hope that I'll get most of what I need from it, but only time will tell. Luckily, I have this entire weekend to work on it because none of my friends are around at all and I have nothing to get done elsewhere. Still, the guides are helpful and all but a helping hand from someone with a history in editing would be appreciated. None of the people I know edit and thus everything I've done and will do (as far as I can see ahead of me) has been done by me working, often failing, and slowly learning the ropes. If anyone actually browses through this, well, wish me luck because I like to make unique AMVs using rare songs and footage (oh, I've got some excellent plans for videos if I lerarn more about making them well) and someday you could run into one of my would-be AMVs and really enjoy it. Ok, time to psych myself up and dive into it! Let the editing knowledge come!

Hurrah! Another new Linkin Park AMV! This time it's to...Naruto! Who would ever guess that?
PEOPLE - TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT!
Find a song that hasn't been run over again and again and again. Get some good quality footage without subtitles and the same clips that every other junk video uses!
Try to improve!

I don't mean to sound like a simple AMV can piss me off, because it doesn't. It does frustrate me, however, when I see how many people on this site pump out the same crap as each other and never seem to get any better. All I'm saying is that there is SOOO much more out there in music and anime. Take it or leave it. -
FIRST FULL METAL PANIC: THE SECOND RAID AMV!

As far as I can tell, I'm the first person to list and upload an AMV using Full Metal Panic: The Second Raid! I think that's pretty cool. The show is really new and fansubbers are only up to episode two right now, so I made the best of the minimal footage I had. My video has no subtitles in it, however! I will try to never use subtitles in AMVs because personally I hate AMVs with random subtitled lines included across different clips.
It took me over a month to make myself video editing and finish a real video project. I am still patiently waiting for a new desktop and some improved software so that I can really take off with my video editing skills. This laptop I use is three years old and does well for what it's got.
Anyway, it's getting late and I have work tomorrow morning. I hope that people will check out my new AMV and that someone will leave me an opinion! I think the timing in the video worked out nicely and the video quality is very good too. I'm excited to see what others have to say! ^_^ - Gotta love these journal entries... 2005-07-23 22:50:01 I dunno about anyone else but reading some of these journal entries definately makes me smile sometimes. Can people stop bickering and taunting each other long enough to enjoy a common interest? I guess we're all critical of each other and that's why it is the way it is, but still I wish people would get over themselves long enough to chill out. You can actually live happily without having to fight with other people constantly, in case you weren't aware. Man, people should chill out. Especially at a place like this where no one forces you to deal with any other member. Do your own thing ang kick the negativity. Wow...
