Finished Fruits Basket

I just finished watching Fruits Basket, and it really moved me. That show was far above my expectations for it. The ending really surprised me and I shed more than one tear. The end did make me smile, however, and now I just feel moved since placing the DVD back on my shelf. For a mix of comedy and direct relationship emotions, I don't know of any show that can top this one.
I understand those who say that guys can like Fruits Basket too. They're right. - NEW Banners...Finally 2005-08-14 12:30:20 For the first time in months, I have three banners waiting to be approved for voting. I've submitted many banners this year but only have one, a Spiral banner I made a long time ago, voted Worthy. These three are all fairly good, in my opinion, and I really hope one of them gets voted in!

Getting High Quality Footage...

...is PISSING me off yet again. I really want to move away from DVDx but haven't quite figured out the VOB/VirtualDubMod route yet either. I'm lucky that Dark Cross has joined me and is helping me learn the ropes, but my frustration lingers as the process draws onward.
If I do get the kind of AVI footage I'm looking for (higher quality, basically), expect to see me upload a video using "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" and a song by Great Big Sea (that one that goes "beat the drum, like a heartbeat, long and strong" - I'm not exactly sure of the title). I feel like it could/should turn out really well.
Ok, I'm off to try to make some ground in this battle against conversion... -

Alright, you guys are right about what I wrote earlier. I agree with you, hoenstly, that the rating given to a video isn't important but rather whether you enjoy it or not is. I just hope that you see what I mean when I say that the site is clogged with junk, many of such videos never get ratings beyond a seven or eight, and I'm frustrated because I'd really like to see it differently. I guess that's the way everything in life is, in some way.
So, ya, I'm not the first person to get blasted by Sammy and corrected by other members. I do enjoy Euphoria (but agree that Olin was really good too) and will have to keep finding videos I adore the old-fashioned way: search, trial, and (often) error. And, I realize, more of the same videos that I have let get under my skin are sure to be uploaded in weeks and months to come. I'll just have to deal with that. -

I totally agree about Euphoria! That video was a landmark and I'm totally fed up with all these little bitches running around this site and making it worse. Euphoria is an excellent AMV and, with all the whiners removed, it would have a remarkable rating that would lift it back to number one.
If any of you bastards who trashed on that AMV read this, I want to say FUCK YOU - you know damn well that Euphoria doesn't deserve anything less than AT WORST an eight in any catagory. There is no argument. You should be ashamed for sliming the system, you rejects.
