well look at that....just when i pimp out a new forum the org's forum comes back online. heh...ah well. its cool...the place looked odd when it was down. heh. anyways...
what a day today has been...classes all day, adn i get back in time to catch my roommate cooking dinner. and no...that's not always a good thing. thing is...she tries so very hard to become a good cook..but she ends up bruning the food half way through the process and ruining a pan. = i've been workin on trying to get her used to cooking...but alas...she choose today to try and surprise me and cook dinner. :P meaning..she heated up cheese enchiladas and a corn suffle. yay for frozen food. only, she had to go and try to cook rice. now, rice isn't the most complicated thing to cook, but we dont' have a rice cooker cuz well, i'm the one who mostly eats rice. so i just cook it for myself and voila...i have rice. but uhhh...she's never cooked rice in her life. and she tried it tonight. i walk in teh door and she's on the phone trying to call someoen for help on how to cook rice. i nearly fell to the floor laughing but i didn't want to hurt her feelings. she put in way too much water..adn apparently the perosn helpign her didn't know much about cooking becuase apparently he was getting his information from his mom. = bad...the rice ended up drying and burning at the bottom of the pan adn the rest was really mushy. this was plain jasmin rice and it was mushy. we'll have to work on that. anywya...the dinner turned otu pretty well for a vegetarian dinner. yes, my roommate is a veggie person. :P its not all bad....you learn a few things. anyway...wat got worse was that i went with her to fry's to help her buy a printer....= meh...took her half an hour to choose if she wanted to buy the printer she already knew she wanted...then another half hour to figure out if she was goign to take the store warrenty that she already felt she didnt want. -_-; it wasnt' all her fault either...teh damn sales ppl were pulling her in different directions and stuff. and while she called her mom and aunt to ask their opinion about getting the warrenty or not, teh sales guy talked to me. turns out he's flip as well and he started asking me if i was flip. i'm like yeah, and then the convo moved onto college and my studies and then onto his son. this guy is like the greatest dad ever. he let his son take two years off from school and he sent him to teh philippines to live out his youth. he said something about this beign the only time where he get sto have fun before turning serious. and i'm like staring at him , my jaw hanging to the floor. his son was pretty hot...he even showed me a picture. he sends him like 200$ every two weeks....in pesos, taht's like 10,000$$....= so he's really lvign it up there. he's rollin in cash, no school to worry about, no job...he's living on a semi-mansion on the beach...adn i'm busting my ass here in college. we're the same age.... = geez...i wish my mom was a little more leisure like that. imean, i don't have to take a break fro two years...one year would have been enough. i've already asked her if i could take a year off but she was like straight up NO. = she says to me...you bust you ass in school...you bust your ass in college...you bust your ass as a doctor...then you can have fun. = pft...by that time i'll be too damn tired and run down from arthritis to have fun...=

my oh my...i knew it would happen one way or another, sooner or later....anyway..its gone. and i can't really say i miss it because i haven't visited that forum in a while... the general forums yes, i miss those. cuz the opinion exchange was a great place, so were the announcment and the suggestion forums. = anyway...its gone until phade decides what to do with it.
::sigh:: i've moved on to better places anyway...
on the editing front..it seems that whenever i WANT to edit, i can't becuase of school or related activities. or becuase my roommates is here and she's an odd stickler when it comes to noise. = and yet, when i can...i dont' feel like it. arr.... >_< i'll edit that damn series one of these days. so far..vids in progress....5 = too much to handle? ::evil grin:: i think not....
