- Rugby Practice 2006-03-13 19:30:41 woah!!! I just home from my first rugby practice(Yeah!!). I love rugby!!! I remember playing it during Gr. 10. Everyone called me by my nickname "lightning" during practice(cause I was fast and no one could catch me. haha) But, anyway, yeah practice was pretty good. All we really did was practice on our catching and throwing and what not. I just find rugby easier to understand than football(totally different sports but similar in a way). All you have to remember is to throw backwards(which I find kind of weird because it's not really passing "backwards" more like passing to the side). My ony complaint is that my hip hurts, but that's another story.

Advent Children Voices

As you guys probably already now by now (and if you don't get out from under that rock lol) Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children has FINALLY been given a release date(April 25) and a voice cast. I have to say, I was a impressed by the voice list except for a few. I hope this doesn't come off as bitching about the voice cast because I'm sure it'll be good but I'm just going by what I've heard for now.
Rachel Leigh Cook as Tifa. Now, I've always liked Rachel Leigh but after hearing a snipet of her in Kingdom Hearts II, I don't know how well she'll do as Tifa.
Christy Carlson Romano as Yuffie. Honestly, when I heard her voice in kingdom Hearts i found her to be irritating and less cute then she really should be. Hopefully, she'll improve over the course of Kingdom Hearts II and carry that with her to AC.
Steven Blum as Vincent Valentine. I love Steven don't get me wrong, but I was thinking that maybe Crispin Freeman would have been a better choice. He's got that whole "dark brooding" voice going on for him. But, Steven IS the king of anime (i've crowned him) so he'll probably do fine.
Ok, now that I'm done my "bashing" I'll go on to being nice again.
Steve Burton as Cloud. I thought he was excellent in Kingdom Hearts.I think he'll do fairly well as cloud in AC.
Beau Billingslea as Barret Wallace. Cloud not have made a better choice as my favourite badass.
The voice of Sephiroth. Now, I've been to sites and the vary. It says that either Paul Dobson will be his voice or George Newbern. But, either way it's great. -

Well, today and tomorrow I have no school because of a Teachers convention I guess, so this morning I had to go downtown for an eye doctor appointment. During the little tests they were doing to me they gave me this eye drops to dilate my eyes which wasn't too bad at first until they started to sting my eyes after the first minute.
But, my real problem was after the appointment. I felt so stupid wondering around downtown trying to figure out where the number 9 to northgate transit center was but no go. I must of been wondering for about 15 minutes thanks to the GREAT directions my mom gave me. I wouldn't have mind it if it was warmer outside but it was -25 degrees celsius outside!
I eventually did find the right bus(the 134 northgate) so I took that. My only comfort is that you guys download my two new videos and comment on them, lol. Please.

Canadian Gov mis-defining anime...

The Canadian National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre, a Canadian Government initiative, has created a "fact" sheet regarding hentai and anime. The document fails to differentiate between hentai and other non-pornographic forms of anime and manga. I don't know if anyone else has read this but it just really irritated me. I don't how many times I have to tell people what the difference is when they hear things like this.

Omg, so my birthday is next month (March 20) and i'm turning the big 1-7. haha as an early b-day gift my mom bought be 3 tickets to the Juelz Santana concert on March 2 at Rum Jungle Nightclub! Yeah, but I guess the concert is for 18 and over so I need to bring someone older (hopefully not my mom because she's not into the whole rap thing) but I guess I could bring my older cousin whose...18 now but turning...19 on the 21st of Feb. But still excited! The last concert I went to was Chris Brown(so cute) with a my friends. Haha I got his autograph.
Anyway, better get back to studying (eww physics, to much math)
