Dilemma with my hair...

I've been wanting to dye my hair red (or maybe streak it red) for a while now but I'm pretty sure my mom won't allow it. My friend always comment how I look similar to Kelly Rowland(I really don't see it, but if that's what they think, who am I to complain) and that I should streak it red like Kelly's. But, I don't want to just streak it for that reason alone, I want to look totally different and surprise everyone considering this is going to be my last year of highschool. That and I've had the same hairstyle for a while now. I think I'll just have to suck up to my mom for a while until she caves in ;-)
Oh, I almost forgot, the answer to that stupid brainteaser was "a coffin." I would probably not have gotten it if my friend didn't tell me the answer, lol. -

My friend asked me that a few hours ago on msn and I still can't figure it out :( hmmm...it's a conundrum. He likes to tease me so much*tear, tear* But, don't worry I'll figure it out sooner or later ;-) -
