  • Christmas AMV 2005-12-05 10:03:54 So I think I was able to finish my video... still uploading now... but I'll let you decide Jaddziadax if I need to make any changes to it (meaning, though this is high quality, I guess one can still treat it as a beta)...

    *sigh*

    Life has slowed down around me lately... funny how that happens when you don't have money as well as no school to occupy your time and prevent you from thinking about the fact you don't have any money...

    I'm going to be paid a lousy $270 in the next fortnight... that's before tax too... I need this web development job I'm applying for desperately...

    I mean, quite frankly I didn't even think anyone else was still downloading it and yet it now has an OP as oppose to Reason (my Gundam SEED Destiny video) which has the most number of hits and downloads and yet still sitting at 0 opinions...

    I freaking completed a brand new video, with as complete an effects and timing and overlays as possible in 24 hours. Well, I guess in totall it's 1 and half days from the time the idea popped into my head till the time I made the final render an hour ago.

    Shows what you can do under pressure >.>

    Gah... I did a speed video before (Reason), but hell, that was just for fun and the motivation for it was purely experimental (see how good I can make something while doing it as fast as possible and it turned out mediocre enough). This time, this is a serious (enough) video in terms of editing and it has drained me of enough energy... phew...

    Just glad that's over and done with... now it's off to sending it to Wai-Con which has a deadline tomorrow by 11:59PM my time. This has got to be the closest I've ever submitted anything XD

    I'll tell ya how it goes tomorrow when I'm a bit more sane.

  • happy or not happy 2005-11-27 22:21:10 Well... ok, so I'm interested in this girl who I met in my Japanese classes this semester. Never really made a move all semester because uni work was generally always full on and I didn't have time and money or perserverance for much else.

    So now that semester up, I'm sort of geared up to do something about it.

    First thing of course is to ask if she was single and if she was interested in anybody. Answer to both was no.

    *does little dance in the corner*

    But of course, the next logical thing that happens happened... she asked, "Why?"

    Eh... well, I just said it outright, that I was interested in her... and she thanked me for being honest... but then, the rest of the conversation was a bit weird after that... she said something along the lines of "hmm, maybe I'm destined to be single forever"

    So what in the world does that mean... she got offline soon after that... problem is she's in Malaysia at the moment and I can't exactly just call her on the phone... she won't be back till the 12th... my birthday :D

    Yeah, that's my life in the past 24 hours... all through that conversation, I was trying to catch my breath... trying to stop my hands from trembling... you'd think this would get easier as time goes by... but it's those people you actually have feelings for that is the hardest to do anything with... the rest of the "easier" ones I've encoutered amounted to nothing...

    Meh...

    On the video side of things, I think I'm giving up trying to put together Anime Academy Heroes for Wai-Con. The deadline is this Wednesday and I've barely scratched 36 seconds of 5 minutes. Plus this is one work I don't want to rush. *sigh*

    Just wondering if I should bother sending any other of my stuff...

    I'm so jealous of my cousins right now... they are about to have over a months worth of holiday on the Philippines and the US. I wouldn't usually care but if things hadn't happened earlier in the year the way they did then I would be doing the same trip with them this time around too...

    *sigh*

    Life always has a way of twisting expectations, doesn't it?

    Can't do much but keep at it I guess.
