Yeah, that's the sound I'm making now... remind me to be better prepared when committing yourself to an anime marathon. I swear my old stamina is gone. I used to be able to pull off 3 days straight without break, maybe no more than 2 hours sleep total.
Today, I just came back from another marathon my friends and I organised, which started on Thursday and should be ending this Wednesday (yeah, that's right, week long anime marathon 24 hours per day). The thing was I only joined them yesterday, and pretty much I've just spent 24 hours total awake and involved in the marathon.
And I currently I'm sitting on 30 hours of no sleep yet, and I don't want to sleep since if I do, I'll end up waking up at midnight and then wondering what the hell I'll do now after realising I can't go back to sleep.
But I feel crap nonetheless... 24 hours... man, that's like child's play and I couldn't even hack it this time. I'm home now. And I don't think I'll be joining them again for the rest of the marathon. Particularly I guess because I haven't even done my Christmas shopping yet...
Sun is coming back on Friday! Should I be happy? Yes... should I be hopeful? I dunno... meh, I should get back to my AMV otherwise I'm going to fall behind schedules again...
Oh crap, I just had a massive haul of anime from that marathon... doubt I'll watch them all... pick and choose (from over 1 terrabyte of stuff XD) -

Ack... I've done it later than I usually do it this year, but finally I've got all the Christmas lights that wrap around our house up and running... complete with all the scratches from having to cut up wires when the hooks snapped. The biggest bitch was the reindeer/sleigh light set-up. Damn heavy ass thing that has to be mounted on the roof, and coupled with a lot of sharp plastic connectors, suffice to say it was the last thing I wanted to put up, but glad I did anyway since I think it's the centerpiece.
It's 5 in the afternoon now, so I can't wait till the sun has finally set so I can set the house alight.
I've traditionally been the person in the family to handle all the Christmas decorations, which includes the tree (I love my tree, nobody does anything to it without my permission) and the lights. I want to have more lights actually... hmm, you can never have too much lights XD
It's a much more sombre year this year, probably why I didn't put up the lights as early. Grandma passed away early in the year, and this will be the first Christmas I'll have with only one grandparent left (Dad's parents are both gone long ago when I was just a child so I've always lived really having 2 grandparents to start with). Grandpa having have turned senile in a long while now kinda makes it feel like it's even more less Christmassy, the way I remembered at least when I was a child growing up.
I'm just now waiting for the Christmas MEP because I'm hoping for it to give some Christmas cheer! I LOVE CHRISTMAS! -
