You know what? I can safely say that I'm not an editor who focused at any one particular anime or genre. I should be proud of that. It's not that it's such a horrible thing to be floating on the same kinds of videos but more like I've managed to get myself interested in variations. To try out different things, different avenues of thought, I reckon is a fun and fulfilling thing to do...

In 2004 I released 2 videos, though you could count 2 other videos of mine created then that will never see a release here, plus about another 2 videos which were half anime and half live action, which again I'm not going to release.
In 2005, there were 7 videos released. All but one of them were individual videos, the other is a MEP. I think last year was a good productive year full of me learning so much.
This year, I've got 9 videos released, maybe 10 if this video I'm working on makes it in time. Half of them were MEPs... I've made more videos this year I guess, and was more involved in the AMV scene, but maybe it's also been generally a lazier year, even though I've had tonnes more free time due to having only one semester of university done.
What do all these mean?
I think 2007 will mark probably the height of the videos I will be making. The ideas I have which I want to turn into reality seem to be the extent of what one can do with videos these days... I don't know... but it seems like it's going to be a tiring year. Is it being pessimistic to say that from next year onwards I probably won't improve anymore? Or is it optimistic in that in such a short amount of time, I think I've done reasonably well for myself and may mean I'm underestimating myself... time will tell... - :O 2006-11-23 18:15:23 Aww... is it jub's birthday yet?!

Anyway, that's a QC I got for Anime Academy Heroes. I guess they completely missed the point. It is a parody, true, but I'm not parodying a trailer. Bah, this is completely from an original story, though how original it really is is questionable :P
One thing's been a bit weird though. I've been getting more ops and QCs lately. Don't get me wrong, it's not that I'm not appreciative of these feedback, but I was just observing that for the past month and half or even more, I've been quite under the radar from most downloader's attention. I've sort of been trying to maintain a low profile, trying not to overly attract attention to myself, trying to get people to forget that I ever made a video to start with.
Northerners digging in for the winter, I suppose.
