ok, get this. a local anime club every once in a while has a thing they call "music night" where they reserve a large room somewhere on campus (its a college club) and with mixing boards and dancefloors in hand, for one night they make a "anime night club" with anime music, various food, and plenty of people to hang out with.
well i happen to know the guy who owns ans mixes all the music for the music nights. another feature of the music nights is that there are TVs around with anime music videos playing (without sound). well he thought it would be a good idea if someone could make little cheappy music videos to actualy go in time with the music he is going to mix, and for some strange reason i decided to VOLENTEER to make all the music videos. this basicly means that i will have to make roughly 7 HOURS or music videos before this semister is out.
WHAT WAS I THINKING?!!? -_-;;
i guess i might have to ask some firends for help or something. on the upside i'll never be able to say i have nothing to do. -

i've finally did some more work on my lain video. i guess it just helps to have m owns stuff around me again. my second video card was delivered too, so with a secodn moniter i have room so i can actualy see all the windows in premiere with out them horrably overlaping. only thing is the color scheme of the second moniter is different for the main, and there isn't anything i can do to fix it (i tried, oh yes, i tried)
i order a boxset of all of studio ghilbi's movies. i can really use the footage, and i'll *finally* be able to see totoro. i have big plans for Whispers of the Hart too. i'll proably have to buy the sound track to get the song tho (man i hate spening money, well.... my money anyway)
gak, its late (2am) and i have 9am classes tomorrow. i need to go to bed -

OK.... this time i'm actualy going to work on my video. i havn't done anything with it these last two days becuase i've been a little moonstruck with owning a new car. but i did my practicing today (first time driving a standard), i've been blocked into teh driveway by my mothers car, so i shouldn't have ANY excuses! now we just have to wait and see if i'm lieing.
i actualy havn;t even turned my vdeo making computer on for th last two days either. (really my only computer, but i have to use some one elses for internet right now so my computer has no other real use at this point)
i supose i could blame it ont eh crappy moniter i have to use right nwo. but i won't have time to work on it after break, so i need to get my ass in gear if i want to finish it by saturday.
i still don't really knwo what i plan on dooing for the second chours, i just seem to be coming up blank. well theres got to be something. i can't jst sit around and watch TV all week. (and i don't mean im watching anime when i say watching TV, i'm just watching crap)
well i JUST talked to one of my partners in my studio, and i feel a little mroe like tackleing my video again. well i supose i can;t work on it til i stop writing in this..... -

well im half done with my Lain video right now. but i'm kinda stuck with what to do next. i had most of the video planned, and the things i diddn't came pretty naturaly as i got to that point in the song. but right now i'm just not sure. ecpecialy since this is the second chours nad the first turned out so well. kinda want it to be the same or better. i have several themes running through teh video too. things liek that make my pleased with what i do but i feel liek i HAVE to match teh lyrics and that can be constraining. maybe later i'll do a video thats pure instramental.
i havn't touched my lain video in almost two days (and considerign im on break with nothing better to do, thats a long time) and i thought that might help. maybe i just need to go back watch soem more and caputer footage from the other two DVDs. i uped my virtual memory (now 1.5G), and bought some more RAM (now 512MB) so i don't really have an excuse not to work on it.
its also hard to get my mind of the new car i just bought. i get to drive it home for the first time tommorow. i'll be quite intresting to actualy drive a standard. i've never realy doen it before. but for a new car that'll be much mroe reliable then any used car i could get... i'll learn.
I'm looking forward to gitting back to my "school" house (i live off campus with friends) were my new secondary video card is wating for me. it'll be nice to have two moniters to work on. though a 19" and a 15" right next to each other running at the same resolution might look kinda odd. well whatever, ist GOT to look nicer then this piece of crap i have to borrow this week. its so fuzzy i can't look at it for more then 10 minutes.
