MUSTARD STEAK!!!

a buch of my friends are going homw for the summer today so yesterday i decided to cook mustard steak (a secert famly recipy) for them once before they left. i had never cooked it by byself before and bearly knew what i was doing. mustard steak requires 4 ingredients; mustard, salt(kosher), a fire pit (w/fire), and a 2-3" thick serloin. you cover the steak wiht a *thick* coat of mustard and then a *thick* layer of salt. what really makes if a family secret is that you don't use a grill, you build fire and place the steak -directly- (yes directly) on the coals of the fire. at this point anyone watching that has not seen it before screams, "ARE YOU MAD!" but trust me its what makes it good. depending on the thickness of the steak cook it for 12-20 minutes a side. don't worry if it chatchs fire, it happens, it's fine. when its done pull it off the fire (usualy a two person job) and scrape off as much of the exsses crud as you can. cut and serve (usually feeds 5-7), recomended side dish: salt potatos, and fire seteamed corn (i'll put up that recipy later)
anyway, it turned out great even tho it was my first try. my friends (who had never heard of it before) loved it so much they said they'd buy the next steak, i just have to cook it. but alwas keep in mind half the fun of mustard steak is the preperation (especialy if its the first time anyone has seen it). -

heres a little something i felt like sharing today.
i was playing soul calibur on DC (the only reason i bought a DC) and my friend was hooking his computer up to the TV so we could watch a bunch of DVDs later. he said i should pause the game because he needed to change the channel to see if he was giting feed, and to change settings. i told him no, and he should just change it anyway. so he did, and i just continuted to randomly hit buttons (not even knowing exactly when the fight(s) started). when he was done and turned the channel back to "game" i found i had aparently won two rounds while the channel was changed.
how do you like that? i won two rounds just randomly hitting buttons, and not even being able to see the screen. -

well this is it. i have my differential equation final today at 11:30am. its going ot be my last final too. then freedom sweet looking-for-a-job-24/7-so-i-can-afford-to-eat-for-more-then-2-days-dom. though i had a job for the summer before i was screwed out of it. i was supossedly going to have hours during the summer where i work now, but when scheduling came around, so many other people stayed, i got nothing. now i'm fucked and need to find a job someplace else for the summer. its a good thing i always keep an extra months worth of money around "in case shit" cause i think this qualifies.
if i'm lucky i can get a job at the campus srt store, or book stre. tho i don't know how many people they would need. of maybe i'll just take that opening at ben and jerry's, if it hasn't been filled yet. i worked ice cream before (for two weeks) and it wasn't that bad. it would kind of HAVE to be better then my last job. my last job was night stock at a grocery store. i got to work the 10pm to 6:30am shift. and let me say nothign pisses you off like comeing out of work and seeing the sun riseing in the sky laughing at you!
a friend o mine is angry at me now because i wouldn't giv ehtem the IM name of a friend of mine. I didn't give them hte name because i knew she was just going to yell at him. and i figure would she want me to give her name to people i knew were just going to spam her? but she dosen't apreciate that fact and now she's pissed at me. oh well, i guess i'll just have to hope she forgets buy the next time i see her.
