  • Sorry, SB 2005-06-06 21:57:43 What a waste of time.
Time spent waiting to look for Easter eggs at the end.

Yes, I'm talking about SBmail. It used to be so good, but now it's clear that they are just desperate for ideas. Alas, the once endless stream of hilarity is now but a tiny trickle of its former self.
  • $91.07 2005-06-05 16:25:46 I paid the electric bill today.
It brought me a small amount of joy.
    For a simple reason really.

I like the pay-by-phone-dont-have-to-tell-some-stupid-bitch-how-to-spell-my-name-fourteen-times setup they have now.

Just call in, punch in some numbers and BAM! Done. Paid.

With a name like mine, it takes two fuckin' hours to pay ONE bill. I have to plan out an entire day if I want to pay all my bills.
Some people complain, "Jesus, it takes forever just to get to a real live person!"

What the hell are they complaining about?

Myself, I'd prefer not to speak with some ditz who probably can't spell her own name, let alone anyone else's.

    Maybe that's just me.
  • Ha! 2005-06-02 20:48:52 I just finagled myself a DVD burner!

In exchange for a combo drive!

All I had to do was convince this person that they only needed a CD burner and a DVD drive and....y'know...remind them that they don't even know how to burn DVD's....

    All in a days work.

  • Ugh. 2005-06-02 18:41:24 Stupid $50 video editing program.....

It was workin' fine! Never had a problem!

Now it won't import anything. God, that's horrid. And I don't have enough money for Premiere....

I suppose I'll just have to watch other AMV's....
    ...
    ...
...and make a list of all the good ideas that I have NOW THAT I CAN'T DO ANY EDITING.

    *sigh*
  • How's your stupid dog? 2005-06-02 00:43:59 Know what animals are cute?

    Rats.

I know, I know. "No, they're not! They're disgusting and disease-ridden!" Yeah, that's the ones that live in the sewers. You'd be disgusting and disease-ridden (and probably a lot worse off than a rat) if you lived in a sewer.

...but my rats are cute. And well-trained.

Take Painda for instance. Painda is my favorite. She's the oldest of the rats that I have and she does not bite, or scratch or squeak and will just sit contentedly on my shoulder as I busy myself on my internet machine.

Today, I happened to be eating lunch as I enjoyed her company. I handed her a piece of cookie, which she snatched and dashed away to enjoy. But then she came back around and climbed up my chest and sat there watching me chew my cookie.

Slowly and carefully, she pawed at my lips.

    Tell me that's not cute.

So I gave her another piece. Which she ran off and ate. Then I gave her a bit of cheese. And, of course, she retreated for a short while and then returned. So I gave her a little potato chip. Same story, she came back again.

And so on and so forth in this fashion.

It occurred to me, (after much of my lunch seemed to be missing), that she must have been VERY hungry and perhaps the other rats were getting more food than her.

Then I saw it. In the corner of my chair. She had not been eating the food. She had been hoarding it.

    How adorable.

When I tried to pick it up, she grabbed frantically at my fingers, trying to stop me.

So I left it, until a while later when she was curled up in a ball, nestled up against me. Then, I carefully scooped her up and set her back in her cage. At which point, it was safe for me to clean up her little collection.

And your dog pisses on the carpet.
