I don't know how people online get this skewed view that I'm such a bitch, that I hate them or other people. Maybe I need to use more emoticons...
Honestly, I don't hate anyone here. There's no one that I think "Ugh, GOD, I hate that person!" Sure, there are people I've had disagreements with about this or that, but I don't hold onto grudges that way. At worst, I'm ambivalent about most users. Any sort of negative encounter doesn't make me hate them forever, much like how a positive one doesn't make me love them forever. Yeah, sure, I know of people that hate me, but these are largely people that I've never even interacted with (and what they actually mean is that they hate my videos, they're just misdirecting ) and I see no reason to reciprocate just based on that. I'm not going to sit at my computer and be angry and fume over this person or that person. It's a waste of energy.
I've had like three people tell me that I purposely ignored them at AWA. Guess what? I ignored almost EVERYONE at AWA. We had a terrible trip down, (four of us slept for very few hours in the car at a rest stop, we were pulled over by the cops and one of us was carsick) I had a migraine the entirety of the con, I was in pain and unhappy, not "too full of myself to talk to anyone else." Seriously, c'mon. It was just a rough weekend for me, that's it.
Yeah, venting a little bit, but this just keeps coming up and I don't know how to convey to people that just because we're not best friends doesn't mean I'm hostile towards them.
TL;DR I'm not hateful, stop thinking that I am. :p -

He's just not exactly active in the community, so I find it easy to believe that they both just happened to make the same AMV idea. I made (and subsequently never released) an Ouran/Alice in Wonderland trailer a couple years back that used the same scenes as one I found on Youtube. I had started an Azumanga video with that auto-tuned "I Love Cats" and I found that someone else did one and used many of the exact same scenes that I had planned or even already had on the timeline. (so I didn't even bother to finish that one.)
Lack of response doesn't automatically mean that he ripped off the idea. I've had people accuse me of stealing AMV ideas from AMVs that came out a year after the video I made and I didn't respond to them because I assumed they were idiots who were not worth it.
Personally, I don't care for either video and I can get behind liking one over the other, but I don't like the idea of accusing someone of stealing/ripping off another person without actually knowing for sure that they did.
