Well, I discovered the secrets of making Magix accept widescreen. Turns out, I'm just a nub. ;-P
I had always dismissed widescreen animes for two reasons:
1. I don't like having black bars on them
2. I don't like to have to add them so that I could work with them in Magix, then have to crop them off later! Just plain too much work.
So now I have myriads more to work with, starting with Beyond the Clouds. I know that I'll never be able to rival Koop's, but I can still make a vid that at least I enjoy. -

Oh, Magix you can be a harsh mistress. Well, I guess mistER? I'm not altogether sure....
Maybe it's DVD decryptor's fault. I'm not quite sure exactly about that either.
All I know is I ended up with 10 VOB's and, in actuality, only needed the audio from 2 of those files.
And guess which two, when imported into Magix, didn't have audio.
Oh, that's right. The only two I needed.
*sigh*
So here I sit, head pounding, disheartened, lacking the energy required to get a much-needed sundae cone with which to drown out my sorrows......
NO! NO! I will remain firm! I will not succumb to such things! I will start over! I WILL get those audio tracks! I swear to you on this day that I will succeed! I will conquer! I will have the sundae cone when I'm finished!

There seems to be only one Elfen Lied vid on this entire site that's worth much of anything. The "Rosemary's Baby" one. The others I've seen are, well, some are ok, and some just plain suck. Either too much effects or the effects don't make sense or it's just one straight scene with a heavy metal song attached to it.
Fine! I'll just have to watch that one video, OVER AND OVER AGAIN!
