Okay, so remind me that the next time I want to go as a blind prostitute for Halloween....to go get my hair, make-up and nails done by a beauty school student.
Seriously. I was there for four hours and I looked like something that might fall out of a dead walrus' rotten, stinking carcass. And then stepped on. And someone took a dump on it. -

I've been spoiling myself too much lately.
When I work these long, 13-hour shifts, I think to myself, "You can have whatever you want! You've been working hard! Go ahead...have some chocolate toffee pie. Stop for ice cream. Order a pizza."
Maybe I deserve it. I mean, my job is not easy. It's hella hard to stand in front of that hot grill (The A/C's busted, so we temp'd the kitched at 115! God, it's hot!) for thirteen hours.....well, I do get a couple breaks....and I do most of the work there...but

I've gotten 12 PM's from 3 people in the last 15 hours or so.
They were people I didn't know, a little new, asking questions.
I tried to help them as best as I could, without offending them too much.
Is there some newbie contact list that I've been added to or something?

Weird.
Okay, so this girl who works at the bar with me just shows up tonight and asks me to model for her beauty school final exam. And she's only been working at the bar for like a month. So I completely DON'T know her, and she wants me to let her give me a new hairstyle, a manicure, a facial, and put make-up all over my face, and all KINDS of stuff.
I am completely NOT a girly-girl, I've never in my life had a manicure or a facial. Or had anyone do my makeup. So. Sweet, free haircut, I guess. Only, I just had my hair cut a week ago or so. And dyed.
But apparently, the girl who she was supposed to use for a model had a prior engagement that she 'forgot' about. Mind you, the final is Monday. So, she was kind of left in a bind, that I'm being nice and helping her out of. I'm so nice.
I wanted to start over on my Hellsing project, but now that I think about it, I'd rather not work on it. It was looking SO awesome, I loved it....and then....it was gone. It's so disheartening. Now the thought of doing any editing just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. And I have so many good ideas, but I just can't get started on anything!
I used to have so much fun editing. Internal sync made me giddy. Now when I watch other videos, I watch from an editors standpoint. Like, "I could do that if I did this, this and this" or "That was a off by a quarter second" and I don't enjoy them at all!
