  • Huh? Amvs? Wha? 2005-05-31 04:26:41 Pesky life has gotten in the way. I haven't even been able to THINK about amv's since Sakuracon. Just now is the first time I've checked back here in a long time.

I have plenty of ideas for amvs. But no time, not right now. See, I'm trying to change jobs and get back into school and a bunch of other stuff. But as soon as I start having time again you can bet I'll be back at this. It's too much fun not to.
  • Accepted 2005-03-23 00:42:56 Fallen Halo was accepted, and I will have the chance to bore an ENTIRE ROOM full of otaku at Sakuracon!

Unfortunantly (or maybe fortunantly. I'm thinking it's probably a good thing), it was dropped into the "Exhibition" class, which means it's not actually running for anything. It will be shown, but not voted on by the unwashed masses.

That's okay by me. It IS my first AMV after all.

The studio has a website now: http://www.wireframeninjas.net

I don't know what my next AMV will be. I'm kind of stuck between Saikano (which I would have to finish watching first), Utena (which I would have to aquire AND watch first), or Tsukihime (which I have allready seen AND have access to).

    We'll see.

  • Nearly complete 2005-02-23 05:34:36 At this point I have all the scenes pretty well exactly where I'm going to leave them. After I tweak the video quality a bit it'll be completely finished. I'll submit it to the Sakuracon officials, and that's that. I've created an entry for the work here, which pretty much signified the point were I was willing to accept releasing it as it was.

This has been TREMENDOUSLY fun, and I plan on doing this a lot from now on.

Now, the wait. Sakuracon isn't until April, so...

Time to get started on something new!
  • Working still 2004-09-15 22:43:47 I do not have internet at home, so I've pretty much ignored this. Which is fine because nobody is reading this yet.

I finally filled the video out last night. In that, I have enough footage to complete the song. Of course, it still needs a LOT of work, at least a few weeks if not another month or two. But, it's finally starting to come together. And I like how it is coming along. It's going to be a video I would like even if I hadn't made it.
  • 2004-08-23 04:48:05 Yeh, I am busy getting ready to move and such, so I won't be working on the AMV until early September, but I hope to have it done by October, so I can get cracking on Butterflies and Hurricaines.
