- worst song to pick 2005-08-29 20:11:43 I just finished my video using the song "I Just Wanna Live" by Good Charlotte. This has been one of the best I've done so far, but it was the hardest. What happened was when editing my clips so that it matched the song, I realized the song would skip back several seconds or so. Thus, whenever I wanted to check a scene, I had to start from the very beginning of the video. I thought maybe there was something wrong with the song (I had downloaded it). So I downloaded it again and the same thing happened. Then I thought it had something to do with the clips, so I just stuck a completely different song on to my video. The song didn't skip back at all. Something with Windows Media Player, or maybe my computer, does not like "I Just Wanna Live." My theory is that it's a fast song and the scenes move fast. But, it's done. Wish the quality was a little sharper, but I'm just so glad IT'S DONE! (and it's going to be a looooooooong time before I can listen to this song again!)

ok, i would like to apologize for my last entry being whiney. I was just frusterated. But anyways, I heard that there is some free software that can extract scenes from dvds. I don't know much about this, since i'm new with making my own videos still, but if I can figure that out, my next video will be better quality. yah!
well, I'm kind of sick now, and tired. Oh, and thanks to the people who gave me opinions on my video. They made me happy! ^^ -

wow. I'm surprised how many people did not like my video :(
I wonder why people didn't like it. It was much better than my first, since none of the scenes froze, and I got rated higher for that one. Unless the download didn't work. Don't get it. -

I made my first AMV! And when I was taking a look at my last journal entry...I realized I don't update this often at all.
Well, to start off, I've been an anime fan for about 6 years now, but even still I am unfamiliar with a lot of the anime out there. Granite, most of the anime I used for my first amv have aired on american tv (though not necessarily good). I chose these because I thought they fit the song well. However, most of the anime I like they don't (or won't) dub, which is fine. (for example, I tried to watch yugi-oh in english...i really do not know what they were thinking. i'm sure it's a great series...but in japanese ONLY!)
Ok, sorry if this didn't make sense. I'm half awake right now. :p
