- video progress 2005-04-25 08:14:21 completed about 1minute 20 on my new video and i'm having a great time. my parents say it's my best yet, as does my brother. it's still a little messy but i'm working on it. I've also started using keying and masking which gives my video a lot more depth. still a little while of being finished though.
- HOME AGAIN!!!! 2005-04-11 05:53:12 Just got home from 5 days camping in Lake Eildon. Haven't got back onto my amvs but i've done at least a minute of quality vid from before i left. I've adopted a different style of making them since i've familiarised myself with the more intricate features and effects in premiere. still haven't really sunk my teeth into after effects but we'll see how that goes.
- Interesting little fact 2005-04-05 19:04:05 Well you learn something new every day. i was talking to my step-mum about my vanessa mae amv, and apparently her sister was a fantastic violinist who was actually for a time in direct competition with vanessa mae. From what i've heard Vanessa mae was not as good as her, but the reason she became more famous was simply because she wore short skirts. So i found that rather cool.

Damn after effects...

My progress in my amv has been slightly slowed due to after effects being THE WORST HUNK OF CRAP TO HIT THE PLANET!!!!! >.< *fumes*
Despite this hindrance, i've done about 30-35 seconds of work (thanks to premiere! yay!) and it's all going relatively smoothly. I'm still not saying much about the anime and music in the vid. As a hint, it's a cover song played by violinist Vanessa Mae, but that's all you're getting out of me! - Put my current amv aside 2005-04-01 05:47:37 I've put my current AMV aside to work on my new one. I'm watching through the series again (not saying what it is! Ngaaaaaah!!!!!), and to save myself browsing through 26 episodes for the clip i need, while i'm watching it through i'm jotting down notes on the useful and best clips all through. I've watched through 7 episodes os far (just tonight) and taken about 6 pages of notes so far. i suppose this sounds weird but i think it will be much easier in the long run. I've planned a lot of my video and i'm using a song not yet used on the org, so look forward to it! I'M ON HOLIDAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!
