Finally begun

Well, after two full all nighters (i'm in the middle of my third now.... ^^;; ) i've managed to rip and process all three DVDs for the amvience studios Multi Editor Project and i've completed about 1/4 of my 33 second section. The song is a dance track, so fast paced with many synch points. My aim is to try and create an amv that synchs as many beats as possible while still being able to notice each synch. The hardest part is trying to moderate something when you want to create something visually stunning (which i struggle with enough as is XD).
I'll definately have to share what i've done with some friends and co workers (of course including yues woman *glomp*), then see if i'm on the right track or if i'm just creating scrambled eggs to a DJ Encore song. *sighes* i really need to stop worrying so much...... XD
For those who are interested about the project, there's a thread containing all the information on the amvience studios website. The video will premiere at AI Con, an anime convention in Tasmania, and some truly innovative minds have been called in for the project; Lockstock, Infinity Squared, Yues Woman, OropherZero, Purge, Jubjub3, and two particularly notable creators; Nessephanie and Bluerrain, who despite being fairly new to the world of amvs, have displayed amazing achievements and technical prowess that few people ever achieve.
Keep an eye out, this should be a great MEP come completion. -

argh, i just can't settle down about my new projects. I've been wondering and worrying about them for weeks and now that i've put up Chop Suey for show, i'm yet more worried. I created that video to try and set a standard above most of the Chop Suey videos out there, some of which i must say are pure crap (particular FF7:AC ones too). I guess now i'm worried about the fact that mine will only contribute to the other 356 chop suey videos, and just clog up bandwidth :P. I've had 28 hits since i put it up, about 8-9- hours ago, so i guess that's fairly comforting. I've had 7 downloads too, and 3 stars. The rating is already down to 3.67 -_-.
My other concern is my MEP with amvience studios members and affiliates. I've got only a 30 second piece to do, but it's the ending of one of our two projects. That in itself i see as a big responsibility i need to hold up, aswell as the fact that i'm working with some of the best creators out there. Now that my dr divx has shown it's true colors by crashing halfway through each and every attempt to process footage, i'm running low on time. i have work starting again, homework to do, dvds to rip, and an amv to create. I don't know how i'll manage all this in time, but i don't plan on letting down the whole MEP just due to my and my computer's lack of competence.
