I love manga

I recently started and finished a manga series, "Hot Gimmick". I really enjoyed it, even thought it is just a bit twisted.Also finally finished reading too.
Also been checking out new fansubs. Claymore, Darker than Black, Lovely Complex, Emma second act, are all good pretty good.
I also discovered they made a live action version of one of my fave mangas, "Hana-Kimi".....it's not Japanese, but it's still goofy like the manga....I think the whole series has been released, so that's a bonus.....the manga wont finish till next Feb. I think.
Oh, and on a very happy note, I recieved my Kenshin anime cel yesterday. I bid on it from a Japanese auction site and amazingly won. Now I have to frame it to go beside my InuYasha one. I think this one is my fave though...since it's for Kenshin. It's from "Samurai X: Trust & Betrayel"....the anime that made me love anime...so it really means alot to me.

Starting yet another new video...

I really hope I finish this one, unlike the others I worked on before it....I have a much more solid comcept for this one, and I hope the inspiration for it sticks around too. I haven't totally given up on my other video ideas yet, but for the time being they are on the back burner till inspiration strikes again. My goal at this point is to finish this video before the NDK submission deadline, since that's my local convention.
I just started the tedious process of making the lip sync match....luckily there's only a couple sentences worth to match up, so that's a good thing.
Well, till next time.....Ninevrise - I am addicted to Furuba 2007-01-30 21:34:16 I recently got into the Furuba manga, in part because of my last video. The story is positvely addicting and oh so much better than the anime. The anime doesn't do the manga any justice, not to mention it cuts off only partway through the story. i'm just starting the final volume that is out at this point right now, figure i'll have it done before bed tonight, but i just can't put them down. I've never been so hooked on any manga before. Looking forward to volume 16...^.^

I've finally pulled all my sources together for this new video, but find myself stuck working on masking clips.....curse you Kisanzi, you keep giving me ideas ^.^ Alas, I find myself staring a images in photoshop, and getting so very tired of them. One day I will get back to really working on this video, though probably not until after the holidays. My goal is to have this video completed by summer 2007, so I still have some time. Gotta get my butt back in gear.

Well, I finally figured out how to properly export my "by your side" vid, so that I could enter both the amv contests for NDK and AAC.....VicBond's guide was very helpful.
After a bit of trial and error involving FTP programs i have uploaded my vid for both contests. Yay!
I did make some minor changes to the video before submission. Plus I was finally able to get those cleaning filters for the .avs script to work properly. If it makes it into the contest, I will post the revised version of it shortly after the con.
That's pretty much all for now.....I have started working on a new action/dance video. Whether or not it will be the next one I release, I 'm unsure.....I'm planning on alot of effects for this one, so It'll probably take me quite some time to finish.
Looking forward to NDK! Only 4 1/2 weeks to go!
