JOURNAL: NPC3000 (Nathaniel Cohn)

  • You fight like a dairy farmer! 2002-06-07 15:49:24 HOLY CRAP!!! How'd my to do list get so damn long?!!

    my to do list:
-watch 1st DVD of Getter Robo

    -finish current AMV project

-find some way to use footage from DVDs (anyone care to help me with that? I've posted about it here: http://www.animemusicvideos.org/phorum/read.php?f=2&i=12055&t=12055)

-go to friend's church tonight to play Risk 2210 A.D. with him and other friends

-e-mail AMV parody ideas to Pie Row Maniac

-finish watching Noir (I'm expecting it to move further up my top 10 list ^_^)

-get together with yet another friend tomorrow

    -start watching Full Metal Panic

-rip the Getter Robo DVD if I want to make an AMV out of it

-go to comedy sport with friends tomorrow night (maybe, I'm sure if I want to go)

-download and review 7 AMVs within the week

-rent the following anime as soon as possible: Revolutionary Utena DVD 2, Crest of Stars DVD 2, Kenshin OVAs

Yep, that's me! the professional multi-tasker, I don't mind it THAT much, it's just sort of intimidating, so much to do, so little time. Well, better get crackin'!

P.S. Pie Row Maniac, I might not be able to e-mail you about the parody AMV today, I'll get to it as soon as possible, hopefully tomorrow!
  • 5...4...3...2...1...aaah no! 2002-06-02 18:47:31 Well, I'm preparing for a summer of AMV creating and, woo hoo! I just got an 80 gig hard drive so I'll be good to go once I install it (and once school is well enough out of my way that it counts as not avoiding work).

I've survived the making of 2 videos on my incompetant little 12 giger and I could have survived the making of one more that I started last night. I don't know if I'll finish it though, the song I picked is wonderful but the project would be very improvisational, I don't have any plan at all.

If the making of Nugget has taught me anything, it's that you simply must plan or else your video will take weeks and weeks to finish. Creative blocks are the biggest stalls of all. I do however want to make the vid, maybe when I finish watching the series I'll come up with a few ideas.
  • right now people are in need of a friend (and some prozac) 2002-05-21 10:05:47 A lot of people here seem to be in a slump these days, I know I am. At the moment I am avoiding studying for this deadly chemistry exam that could determine my grade for the semester.
    I'm doomed! :-O

I'd love nothing more than to start a new MV but it's not going to happen until school is out. >_< And I must be getting pretty emotional because for some reason I feel the need to type expressions for everything I say >_< ^_^ ^o^

Uhhhhhgh, will the work ever end? Worst case scenaorio is I fail miserably and spend the whole summer feel guilty about having fun (saying to myself: didn't you already have enough fun all school year while you were slacking off?)

Hopefully my grades will be survivable because I WANNA MAKE MVs!!!

    ok, back to work! >_<
  • Jebadia, 2002-05-14 20:51:37 Jebadia I been meaning to say, you're awsome man!

I really appreciate your reviewing my videos and giving me some leverage on the forums.

The only other person, as of yet, who's reviewed my videos was vaska who I eventually discovered was just a friend of mine. Sure it was nice of him to review my videos and I thought he reviewed fairly and all but he doesn't watch too many AMVs and wouldn't be a member here if I didn't tell him that I got my videos hosted, I think.

I've got a fear of spoilers and have only gotten started watching Escaflowne but I'll review another one or two of your vids when I get the time!
  • Man in the Hood 2002-05-14 19:11:08 EK: that's William H. Macy as Jerry Lundegaard from Fargo in that picture right?
