Thought I'd toss out an mp3 as well as ask a question about it:
I've been meaning to get a Weezer CD or two (definetely Maladroit) but I was wondering: I downloaded this song some time ago, it was titled "High Up Above" and I liked it quite a bit. I couldn't find it on any of the CD listings, is "High Up Above" a false title or is this song not on CD?
Can anyone tell me?

"How appropriate, you fight like a cow!"

WOO HOO!!!
I just got started on my new music (this time round using DVD footage as mentioned last post) and I am so psyched!!!
I haven't felt this energized to edit since I got started on Lord of the Butterflies! The video is practically editing itself! It's just coming together! (considering the fact that unlike all my other projects, this one involves a fair amount of thought and planning, it sort of makes sense)
One problem, I still owe 4 reviews to people who asked for them recently and I've been a liar. I apologize to those people for not delivering in a week as I said I would, I should've taken into account the possibiliy that I might be lazy. I also owe at least one more review as well. I'll get to the reviews as soon as possible but in this very moment I'm too distracted, must...edit...video!

Lets try again. You wave that sword around like a feather duster!

I am oh, SOOOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!! ^_^
alternatefuteres, if you're reading this, THANK YOU! that VFAPIConv thing you suggested finally started working, I'm finally going to be able to use DVD footage for AMVs! YES YES YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!
Now I won't have to bother the Video Help forum to get my DVD problems solved *sigh of relief*
Inspite of that: Omnistrata, about what you said about "fools who still think downloaded footage is the worst type to use," I agree. Downloaded footage is perfectly useable (at least with some anime). Sure, DVD footage is better but people make too big a deal out of the horrors of getting your footage off the internet.

Well, I finished wathing Noir and I must say, I was not disappointed. Throughout the bulk of the series you never have an exceedingly strong connection with the two main characters, Meireille and Kirika. But there is a pretty unique audience-character relationship present nonetheless. You keep changing your mind about the two girls as to whether or not you like them, whether you identify with them, whether you like one more than the other, etc. until the very end when you realize you really do care and wish the best for both of them. This is, at least my experience with Noir. After many ups and downs while watching the series I've decided it's one of my favorites! ^_^
There was someone who mentioned a Noir movie on the website does anyone out there know anything about it?
In the meantime, I've been indulging in Love Hina, I'm up to episode 9. Now don't get me wrong, the show keeps ANNOYING THE FREAKING HELL OUT OF ME! But somehow I can't stop watching it and I can't stop liking it.
There were a bunch of people who voiced their disliking toward Love Hina on a forum thread a couple weeks ago and while I agree the show has plenty of pitfalls and annoyances I'm too addicted to the series to say that I don't enjoy it. I have a big fat weakness for anime series featuring whimpy, love-obsessed main characters, they're outstandingly compelling and identifiable to me. The more abused and humiliated Keitaro gets, the more I have to keep watching to see where he'll end up.
Well, those are the big highlights of the day for me, watching lots of anime!
