  • so long and farewell... 2002-07-13 03:26:08 Well, I finished We Are Building a Religion yesterday (on my birthday!), yay! I was hoping to get a little feedback because I'll be leaving for West Virginia tomorrow but nothing so far. Oh well, no sweat, hopefully I'll have something by the time I get back.

    My FTP server is so clogged that it's really hard for people to get my video anyway so once it slows down a little...my little sister will be taking care of the server while I'm gone.

    I've already got my next project well thought out, hopefully I'll get started on it soon after I get back...

    Anyway, as I said, starting tomorrow I'll be gone for a week so I'll see you guys then, bye, now, time to get some sleep... 
  • 50 seconds to go......huff...huff...gasp..wheeze!!! 2002-07-07 23:08:16 Well, I'm about 2 minutes and 50 seconds of the way done with the first draft of my current video which means I've got 50 seconds to go. I'm trying my absolute hardest to finish it and finalize it in the next few days because I'm going to be leaving for a week on the 13th and I want the video done before I go, dammit!

    I've been getting an average of about 10 seconds done every day but now I have to speed it up. The problem is, EVERYONE'S BEEN WANTING A PIECE OF ME LATELY!!!

    I've gotten visitors, calls from friends, birthday parties and worst of all, the terrible sleeping pattern I've been suffering from all week. I can't seem to go to sleep before 4 AM, for some reason I'm loaded with energy and just can't rest. URRRRGH!!! >_<

    Why is it that during the day, I have no energy and thus can't edit or when I have energy during the day I'm busy or during the night when I should be sleeping to get energy the next day, I have tons of energy and can't sleep? WHY?!!!!!!!!!!!!!! }-O

    *sigh* Well, enough babbling. Back to work!!!!!!! 
  • BARF! 2002-06-30 01:20:46 oooog!

    Stomach hurts, dizzy, light-headed, was unable to sleep last night, not tired tonight but not very awake, hot, fevery, miserable...

    Guess I'll face it, I'm sick. Damn! That just sucks! I'm right in the middle of making my next video and I don't feel like working on it, grrrr! >_< 
  • BIG O!!!! 2002-06-29 17:00:21 Watching jbone's videos, A Christmas video, Renegade Megadeus and Harsh Reality as well as jbone telling me that the 2nd season will be released this fall rejuvinated my excitement for the Big O, the only anime show I watched on toonami (except for Sailor Moon a LONG time ago).

    So I rented the 4th dvd and DAMN! I LOVE THIS SERIES!!!

    So many people seem to dislike the Big O and it really annoys me because I feel they're not giving the series enough of a chance. People complain that it's too much like Batman: the animated series (I consider this a good thing myself :P) but it's very well written (by the writer of Lain for those uninformed), it's got a lot of clever ideas, seriously, how many anime series take place in a city where every citizen had amnesia 40 years back? Dorothy is a great character and I personnally think the art is excellent, I love that film noir style!

    But best of all, the series has a wonderful mystery. Most series, even very good ones don't do a whole lot with their mystery elements, they just loom over them as a means of keeping you interested. But in the Big O, the mystery really gains a lot of depth and pulls you in as the clues and questions keep popping up. This one of the few anime series where I really REALLY wanted answers! Like when I watched eva.

    I lost interest in watching the Big O because I thought the story would never be finished but if jbone is correct, CN will be airing the second season this fall, thus the series goes to my top 10 list, hopefully it will live up to my expectations!

    So, I hope this journal entry manages to sway a couple of you Big O haters into giving the series another shot, it might take a couple episodes for you to get interested but please, try it!

  • 3 videos on the way 2002-06-22 17:53:59 Well, I've got three videos in the making right now.

    I'm a minute and a half done with the 1st one, fifty seconds done with the 2nd one and a minute and six seconds done with the 3rd.

    All three, I think are turning out quite nicely. I have a problem with the 3rd video though. I'm debating whether or not to release it on the site. On one hand, I'd love to get feedback for it but the problem is, it's HIGHLY fanserviced (I'm using the anime Jungle de Ikou) and I've got a couple friends who access my profile sometimes and who can get annoyingly incredulous about that sort of thing. I won't want to have to explain it to them.
