ugh i love where i work yet i hate it.
i love where i work because i work at the Body Shop. I work with absolutely awesome people, get awesome customers, get a relatively decent pay, and its small and convinient. Sure im a little nervous going every time, because technically im still new, but i never get stressed out at work because there are always people there who will help you when you need it. So overall the job is 100x better then i expected (i mean the last place i worked was in fast food, that was pure hell ;O)
but i HATE where i work because, today for example, is a Saturday. Its almost christmas, therefore the mall will be a zoo. I was supposed to work from 11:30 until 5:30.. a relatively long day but id be getting lots of hours. So im getting ready to go, and my manager calls me saying "she doesnt need me". GRARG! Not only that, i have absolutely zero shifts next week! The thing is this isnt the first time its happened. As a matter of fact, Thursday was the first time i worked again in 3 weeks! Plus i was called on my second shift that they didnt need me.. so thats even less hours. I dunno what to think about this.. i mean sure if they're dead they might not need a few people.. but why not take advantage of when theres no customers and train me more? I really need the hours.. i need christmas money. My first paycheck was 86$, but that was alright because i like.. JUST started working there and was being trained, but my second paycheck im going to get.. ill only have 7 hours on there! At this rate ill probably only have a little over 100$ for christmas spending money -___- thats not cool considering i had plans for certain presents but chances are I wont be able to afford them.
Luckily my parents are there for me, and said they'd make sure id have enough money for christmas shopping and myself.. i just wish i didnt have to rely on my parents for money because technically i am a 16 year old working girl x___x
And this also means less money for Acen @_O; -
