After restoring my comp and losing my internet for a good period of time, i was expecting lots of VCA biatching once i got back. I wish we could all just stop being so snotty and pretentious about the whole thing and do it for shets and giggles like we're supposed to. Im sure the mods put a lot of time and effort into making this contest and its sad that everyone always complains about how its run and how its a joke.
The VCAs are a popularity contest. Everyone knows that. It doesn't matter who wins, everyone will complain about the winners anyway. Most people who vote arent the pretentious aholes who lurk on the forums, so not everyone is going to vote to your elitist standards. Get over it. If you're so against how the VCAs are run, then just don't freaking participate. Its just for fun, and if you're going to get your panties in a bunch because your/your favs dont make the finals, take some freaking ritalin and play some pokemans to relieve your stress rather than taking it on certain people (-coughhacklikemecoughhack-) because you dont like a certain editor or video.
That being said, I want to thank everyone who voted for me or my amvs thus far, i was pretty surprised to see how many categories i was in. I'm not expecting to win anything, but its nice to know that people enjoy my amvs to get them this far in a contest like this. Thanks again. -

People are yelling at me about AOTO making the semifinals for 'Most Artistic' and shet.
uhhh.
i didn't vote for it there. So stop yelling at me.
For all its worth, if everyones definition of 'art' is different, then how is AOTO any less artsy than say... a typical EF/5 CM amv to piano music hmm?
