Okay, so the hits and downloads for "All Puffed Up" are a little disappointing. Of course, it's a PPG video on an anime site, and after all I did get one positive comment and more than 2/3 of the people going to the video's page have downloaded it, so I guess that's a good record.
My next AMV may be on hold for a little while, as I have been struck by another lightning bolt of hobby inspiration, namely, upgrading my website again. I may be working on that for a while. On the other hand, it's Spring Break next week, the perfect time to start a new AMV! -

MY POWERPUFF GIRLS VIDEO IS DONE!!! HOORAY!!!
At long last I've completed the darn thing. It is now available on AMV.org! I hope someone out there will check it out! I'm thrilled with it and I think it's a lot of fun. I hope its viewers will too.
And I'm happy because my server is working again! Thank God. It was really scary for a while there, but now it's all good. ^_^ Too bad about the homework and projects I've let slide in the meantime.... ~_~o
Next project: A comedy video featuring Those Who Hunt Elves! I own this entire series on DVD, so this time there's no fear of subs or bad video quality. =D I'm looking forward to that one too! =) - This paint-by-numbers life is f***ing with my head. 2003-02-27 16:16:07 I successfully upgraded the server but a whole pile of problems arose afterwards, including the fact that the web server portion won't work at all. Damn. Tomorrow I'll be reloading the whole OS from scratch, and then restoring the web space from a backup. Unfortunately I did not back up my first AMV, "Avada Kedavra." At home I only have my newer version, 1.5. I deleted the original. GRR. A while ago I decided I would not upload a new version of the video until I had successfully removed the subs. So now I have no file to go with my AMV.org entry. GRR GRR. Still don't know what I'm going to do about this. First things first...getting the server back up.

So, Once Again, The Day Is Saved...

My PPG video is about 95% done and it ROCKS! I'm so excited to get it posted on AMV.org because I really think it's excellent, and I'm a pessimist so that's really saying something. ^_~
I completed the video all the way to the end, even through my "ending credits" tile. I just have to polish up a few timing issues and capture some scenes I need for about five seconds of the last verse. At the moment it's a black screen for those few seconds. ~_~;
I'm upgrading my server this week and I don't want to post the video just to have the server go down, but I should have the video ready to go and posted to AMV.org by this Friday! I hope somewhere out there someone's looking forward to it as much as me! ^_^ -

Me again. After a crazy semester I'm getting re-inspired to make AMVs again. Also I've acquired some additional anime that I needed. My next three projects on the horizon are:
1) Completion of my Powerpuff Girls video (half done)
2) A comedy AMV featuring Those Who Hunt Elves
3) A serious AMV featuring antisocial characters
That's the plan. Somewhere in there I'm hoping to finish my improved version of my first video, Avada Kedavra, and get it up there because I still think it kicks ass and the new version is worlds better already.
That's about it from me. Turns out that instead of graduating in May I'll be sticking around until December. That's both good and bad, but on the plus side I'll be able to keep my sweet server for another semester, so I can continue to provide fast, easy direct downloads for my videos.
