so, someone got an attitude and hung up on me at work.
it's actually pretty common, and i let it all fly. it's a stressfull business, and learning that your computer is screwed over can make you want to slam a phone down.
i don't know though - today i just don't feel like taking crap. someone called me about a printer error, and i gave them a temporary solution. our system was acting screwy though, so i couldn't connect to the printer and fix it for real.
so i told her "well, theres nothing i can do about this at the moment, so i'll just have to make a tick-*UHGG*CLICK*
she acted strange too. breathing really hard like she had just ran a mile, instead of having spent 4 minutes sitting on a stool while talking to me.
some kind of drug maybe?
i wrote her regional manager an email. gave her the benefit of the doubt though, and excluded the suspicsion of drugs -

caller: it's saying "windows cannot start. files are missing or currupted"
me: alright, i'll have to make a ticket.
caller: ...i need to use this computer tonight!
me: you won't be able to. nothing i can do about it
caller:...but it's friday! i need it!
ect, ect.
is it really that hard to understand that i'm telling him his shit is broken? :| -
