Working with limited footage is some kind of interessting, but also challenging. Today I tried to edit something for the new Boom Boom Satelites contest.

I have a good idea, but itīs hard to edit a 1:30 song with 4 minutes of usefull footage. I heard that you need about 1 hour for 1 minute or something like that. It drives me to things that I never did before. Yeah this 3D stuff =/
Itīs to distract the viewer from the lack of footage and give him some motion while I use static images.
I better get a new version of AE because my version lacks this fancy camera tool .-.
Anyway my idea for this video isnīt bad so I might edit continue it with more footage and without entering the contest.

Eh looks like I need a type of noise that actually looks different than the usual fx stuff. Mhm...
Frustrating in gameing and getting sick of it (ok after a bunch of hours itīs no wonder...) is somehow good, because you do other stuff like well... editing =P -
LAN party weekend and AMV nonsense

First the AMV nonsense (Rant about myself):
Man. Sometimes my head can be full of shit. Really. Like: "Oh, I never will have good ideas, Iīm burnt out...". What a big pile of steaming bullshit. If people say that I sometimes interpret too much things into something than theyīre right.
I mean I just had/make a 2 months and maybe ongoing break with no editing. Whatever! That has nothing to do with skills, ideas or something. Iīm just more into gameing and invest my freetime in playing 360 with various single player and online games like Halo 3 and Battlefield: Bad Company.
God. I really need to remeber myself that this has nothing to do with stopping this hobby. Everything is fine and thatīs it. I just donīt edit right now. End of the story and Iīm still full of ideas. Thatīs it.
This stuff pisses me on!
LAN-party:
Alright so this weekend I was on my first LAN party. Yay... I met a lot of friends again and also my two amv-studio mates The Patient and Dreizehn. It was really a lot of fun. MACO is just a great anime/manga/j-culture association in Austria. The mood is always great and the members are alright and cool.
It was more a file-sharing event with less gameing. It got a bit boring from time to time when my pc just sucked ass (old graphic card, single core system) and the network was a bit slow. No wonder. I mean most of the people shared theire external drives and USB 2.0 has about ~35Mbit/s. A usual network has 1Gbit. I think you see the problem... Faster than the internet, but not that great.
Iīm pleased, but I will do a lot of things different at the next LAN party. Iīll set up
my old PC for sharing, than Iīll use only internal drives for offering files and so on.
I got tons of new hentai for the next Hot Coffee event ^^
Oh we program an old computer game in one of my courses at the collage. Itīs the good old Pong game and we program it on FPGA controllers. NOW I can say that I made something really really geeky in my life. rofl xD

Tomorrow is LAN party weekend and Iīm really excited =D
So I filled my new 1TB external drive with media and data from me and my studio Macīs harddrives. All in all I have 35GB of amvs now. Quite cool ^^
After the LAN Party I think about start to edit again. 2 months full of gameing was a long enough break to relax. Yeah I canīt wait for it!
