Editing 12cm x 40cm (600dpi) big Photoshop files doesnīt work guys. My record lies at 1,931 GB RAM that were consumed from the photoshop file. Take Illustrator for big stuff. Itīs horrible with Photoshop .-.

Ok so I finally got my new laptop and itīs awesome. Itīs my first lapy and here are some info with software upgrades:
Intel Core 2 Duo - P9500 2.53Ghz
4GB DDR2 RAM
GeForce 9600 M GT - 512MB - 1680x1050
500GB hdd with 5400rpm and 8MB cache
Windows XP Pro x64
Software:
Images: Photoshop CS3 Extended
Editing: Premiere Pro 1.5 or CS4 (undecided though)
Effects: After Effects CS4
Compositing: Nuke 5 (first, I need to test the trial though)

...You know that there will be be a lot of crap in the Best Horror category, but donīt deny that this one really should have a place in it. It doesnīt need to win, but if itīs not in the advanced rounds than itīs a real shame.
Itīs the only category which I care for my vids this year.

Itīs a collection of short amvs. The goal duration of letīs say voloume 1 will be 20 minutes. Unlike my project Deus Machina there will be no specific storyline which goes threw all the parts. Uhm itīs a single editor project and itīs attempt is for me to try out new/alternative editing and music.
