  • 2009-03-17 10:20:43 Iīm not in the finals... again? OK last yearīs VCAs there wasnīt really a reason to reach the finals (thatīs fine), but this year is dissapointing.

    You have to understand me. You give your best for a video for over a year and in my opinion the vid is great. I really think that it deserved to stand in the finals for Best Horror (even if itīs only a extreme creepy vid. Which amv are pure horror vids anyway?). You think Iīm egoistic, self centered etc.? Screw it. Iīm just self confident about my work!
    Alright nobody is supposed to like the vid, but I do think that there are enough people who enjoy watching it. My goal is to win a VCA, no matter how much you bitch about it being a crappy contest! I still like it.
    Thatīs just a dream of me. I had several dreams when I started to make amvs and came to the org. I reached every dream if you exclude this one.
    I didnīt set it as a goal to win this year. Maybe when I created the vid. However it was a goal to reach the finals.

    This isnīt bitching about people who canīt vote or something. The average viewer should vote whatever he likes, but Iīm so much dissapointed of my video/myself for not getting into the finals. argh...

    BLAH! I need a hug now to cheer me up .-.

    Thanks for everybody who voted for me and still believes in me reaching my dream on day. 
  • Bitefight *ouchies* 2009-03-16 08:37:17 Mhmm... I still have scratches on my arms and slight "traces of bites" (you know these red marks on your skin after something bites you). I wasnīt really attacked by an animal, but I had a fight with my gf over a jar full of pickles.

    It started that we weīre haveing dinner and I seriously wanted a pickle for my bloody bread with spread. She took the jar and clenched it. I came over to her seat and tryed to get it. Well it turned out to be a game/fight over this friggin pickles.

    After some mean tricks (ok we both played foul sometimes) and pain it ended in me chasing her outside my house. We both had no socks and or shows on and our feet got all moody. She screamed while I chased her, swinging some beg of frozen bread over my head like a weapon. She got to lock me out of my own house. Oh well I had a second key around, but I admit that I lost this time.

    I hope that my neighbours didnīt saw or heard us. LOL

    No I didnīt made up this story. This for 100% what happened this weekend! ^^'

    Before anybody gets something wrong: It was fun. Ok? Violence fun ^^ I better say it now before anybody thinks that I maltreat my gf xD

  • Thoughts about VCAs 2009-03-10 17:42:34 Pas said it. I wanted to say the same, but it ended up in a rant about popular editing and stuff.

    Itīs an event for the average viewer so let it be and get over it. If they want to vote for Naruto, Thousand Foot Crutch and shiny but cheap/cheesy effects so let them. There is no reason to bother about it.

    Itīs also a popularity event and well thatīs ok. Even if itīs frustrating to know that I seam to have no chance in Best Horror against Illeia. *shrugs* I want to be in the finals and thatīs it.

    btw. contests like AWA Pro donīt seam to be a lot better.

    Oh. Eve - The Perfect Human is now on the local servers too. Itīs the censored version from the direct hosting, but you can drop by and leave a qc and some star ratings. Yeah I would like to see how the average .org thinks about it. Iīm interessted into it. :)

    Vote for the stuff you like. Anyway I only ask for the votes in Best Horror. Sorry if I look like an asshole now, but I DO think that I should be at least in the finals this year you know. The final rounds are my goal and I would like to reach it.
