How can I be stuck at encoding for 3 days? ARGH.
Ok so now I have another 3 days left to make another full length amv with a pretty hard concept for a special amv challenge? yup... way to again.
The amv that I finished this week will need a lot of fixes and a much better visual quality if I want to release it online. *sigh* too much technical stuff goes wrong .-. - 2009-08-15 19:57:53 That's such a bad joke! Why is the avs script by 2 frames different than my stupid MJPEG file? Now I can fix some places by 2 frames or what? SCREW IT!

Raw editing done and thoughts on the nearly completed version of the amv

I'm done with the raw editing, creating the main effects design and some effect scenes. Personally I have to say: This video surprises me. It started really good, had some extremly difficulut parts (in thermes of scene selection due to a very limited amount of footage), some very desperate moments, a twist in the set of story/theme and so on...
In the end it really pleases me. Which is the main surprise about it. I made it. I made an amv that pleases and entertains me and that's a wonderful feeling. I worried about the very inconsistent editing style (there are so many of them), but it still feels good to watch. Personally I should worry only about the comments here because of the editing style, but myself is really pleased.
The obvious effects fully please me too and that's rarely the case, because I'm picky. They don't sting out, have style, fit to the concept and look awesome (to me =P).
The details and minor effects can need some more love and perfectionism. I will work on it for the final release. I'm fine with this convention version wich isn't cheesy at all. However I know where the small flaws are and I want to eliminate them to make me fully pleased. Also the end could be more wicked. Let's see.
This amv is again an "absolut Bauzi" video. You know: blood, angst, horror/terror, naked chicks, wicked and fucked up.

Wow now that's new for me:
The video looks fine if you scroll threw it. It's a lossless Lagarith encode from Premiere Pro CS4, but there is one frame that fucks up the whole file. It's damaged or something.
If a programm reaches this frame, it will crash or will show a black screen afterwards, but if I skip it, everything works fine.
That's so strange! I hope it is just a random phenomen. It would be bad if it would screws up a final encode. =/ -

Lack of footage and repetitive use of the same scenes force me into originality in editing and fx. lol
When I'm done I have to count the number of accurance of this single scene. I think right now I used it 5 times. heh
