There goes 11.000€ for a two year eduction in Digital Editing & Animation in Vienna. *sigh* Let's do this shit! At least I get a "free" Mac Book with attending in this cours with my 11.000 bucks.
This Mac is poison for my reputation. What will the people say when I show up on the next LAN party with a Windows Laptop and a Mac? lol Hey I have nothing against Apple itself. I just have something against this hype and design stuff. It sometimes feels like a brainwash for some people. Oh and I also have something against overpriced hardware like the iPod. However people choosed to think that I'm a Windows-AMV fag. Whatever! =P -

It's from my Windows Sky Drive which I got for free. It might be suitable for hosting if it has the right speed and if everybody can access threw such a link. The Sky Drive is almost 25Gb which is crazy shit for free stuff. There must be a catch! -

Right now I had a glorious idea! Right now I'm cleaning my old external harddrive from all the stuff that I don't need anymore and that is already on my bigger storage plate. After reading Pwolf's journal where he was speaking about defragmenting external drives and extra plates for footage I had an idea. I could take my old harddrive and dismount it from the current drive body with USB 2.0. Than I could buy a fancy new body with USB 2.0, Firewire 800 or e-SATA. It would give me a nice 16MB cache, 7200rpm editing plate with 500GB and a hell of transfer speed with FireWire 800 or e-SATA.
I don't have an e-SATA or FireWire 800 plug on my laptop so I would need a PCI-express card. The problem is that I can't find one that has FireWire 800 and e-SATA at the same time.
Mhm let's see which PCI card I'll buy. -
