Still motivated for doing more AMVs in the future. Multiple ideas need to be done. There is also a plan for some sort of Machinima type of AMV. The game is already ordered from zavvi.com The problem is that there are two very fitting and promising songs. I can't really do both songs. It would oversaturate. =/ Meh... Maybe there is some way to split it up! That would end in a duration of 12 min. Would I really get enough footage for such a long duration out of cinematic gameplay?
Also I need mods for no huds and for a free moving camera. =/
Met some really nice person at the last weekends LAN party. Huh... Things look easy and uncomplicated. Let's see how this whole thing develops. I stay positive. :D -

For all my AMV life had to struggle with hardware restrictions that held me back. Low RAM, slow CPU, low harddisk space. That's all gone with my new system and my last amv went out WAY too smooth. Like... with no technical issues at all.
Isn't that weird? I feel so used to the struggle and sort of miss it.
I thought about breaking technical boundaries in the AMV world this time. It's not about it, but it is a possibility and technical goal. So there is the artist goal, the fx goal and the technical goal. The technical goals include 3 sub goals. One of it is a massive undergoing which needs further testing. Oh well... ! There could be 4 sub goals, but the 4th would be totally unnecessary and pure prestige. Even more prestige than the other huge undergoing.
blah blah. blah blah. blah BLAH. A lot of hot air here. Well let's get on into planning this. This project needs a lot of footage scouting, a storyboard or animatic and probably a new set of skils that I don't fully have in me yet.
This makes me exciting. It might bring the struggle back.
Target release date for this project: September 2013. Yes... even if it finishes earlier I would like to hold it back for my local AMV contest in Vienna. Some very important person will probably quit after the convention and I might give this video to that person as a present.

The rest of the plans involve some basic experiments in editing. Some of which are inspired my actual official music videos of the songs. Oh and I also think about making my first requested AMV. Let's see how that goes!

YouTube says that the video MIGHT contain videomaterial by Universial Pictures. I didn't confirm and nothing is proven. Yet... they still can put an ad over my video!!! How can they do that if nothing is proven? Even the video only has 5 clicks by now!

I've reached the original musical artist of my last AMV. As for now I have no idea how I can ask them for a permission to upload my video on YouTube. Yes... I really try it this time. I wouldn't if the content of the video wouldn't be a perfect fit for the message of the video. Also the theme of the music is the main reason why I try it. It's time to stand my ground against music companies that use their copyright as a way to censor media! -
