  • Goals 2009-10-15 18:43:41 I think you need goals in life. So what is my goal? heh... I think I didn't really got one. Ok one goal was to become a film student and afterwards a proffessional.

    Well I AM a film student now and there is no doubt that I will make money afterwads with media production... So what should come afterwards?

    I reached plenty of goals in my video career. Some were so small that I seam to forget them because they got so naturally for me today.

    The first was to get hosted on dragonballarena.net . Hey! That was 8 years ago and the amvs that I found on the site were the best I know. Mac an my videos sucked so hard that they just didn't wanted to host them (they refused us in a friendly way Thx for that =D ). However it was a goal to make a video that's worthy enough to get hosted. It's a good thing. It gave us a reason to improve and get better. I guess that's something that a lot of youtubers might need.

    Than I wanted to become one of the best amv-editor s in Austria. I surely became one of the best or am the best right now. Nice. It would be a nice goal to get one of the best video (in general) editors in Austria. Let's see.

    I wanted to win a contest. I did.

    I wanted to win a contest in Austria and win prices at a convention (it had a big symbolic value for me. Prices aren't important). I did it twice in a row.

    So looking back isn't that bad. Hey I achieved something! YAYzzzz! Maybe it doesn't mean that much, but I think it has some personal value. That doesn't mean it's time to get arogant or something.

    Anyway let's look on my goals that I didn't reached so far:
    - Win a VCA for the Action genre.

    Tss... I was much more into action vids compared to my early years. Whatever.

    -Win a VCA

    Hey that wouldn't be bad, but let's be honest: This relys on so many aspects and things and I don't want to eveolve in some directions of these aspects. I redefine the goal: Get into the finals of a VCA round.

    Now that's way more realistic! =D



    Good... and the future? Now don't laugh...

    -Making the [LGS] to a proffessional media production company/studio

    It's just felt so goooooood to imagine your own proffessional studio with all the planning, production-sites, equipment, logistic,... That was wondeful and I think I really want to build up a proffessional studio. Yeah... That seams to be my new goal. Wish me good luck!
