  • Editors I don't respect (yeah YouTube stuff...) 2009-11-24 17:14:54 Ok we all know the people who put one episode into the timeline, trim it to the music and call it an amv, right? That's not about it now =P

    I hate some kind of montage editors that you will most likely find on YT and other streaming sites. There is nothing like that for amvs.

    Let's take an example which will perfectly explain what kind of editor I mean:
    You want to watch some funny videos on YT. So you type in words like "fail", "bloopers" or "funny cats" into the search. If you type in "fail" you will most likely get clips from the very cool website failblog.org.

    The type of editor I mean downloads clips from YT or failblog, pastes the clip on the timeline and that's it. Nice you compiled it for us together, but you definatly don't deserve credit for it!

    I saw a clip that pasted to quite popular montages together. Afterwards the author put in his name into the credits and things like "some random song". WOW! You don't even have the respect to look up for the song and put it into the credits? And you actually want credit for pasteing together two montages with the same songs and for adding some preset WMM titles? You really want credit? Here it is: Fuck you.

  • @Aaron: 2009-11-21 04:18:58 Mhm maybe that's the case! I don't know. I was pretty good in WaW. In WaW i played a midrange soldier (MP45), a sniper (without scope) or monster (springt, fast reload, sawed of shotgun *g* Best to surprise people).

    I think I agree. in CoD it was a lot about running. I think you got a lot of good defense. In MW2 I feel like my area is always open to 3 sides. You surely can't run around like in CoD4. In CoD4 I played as sprinter with a MP. For be the same in MW2 I have to know the map much much better.

    I think the maps in MW2 are great. Only one unfair camping spot so far (bunker boxes on Wasteland), they are quite big and detailed. There are a lot of great spots.

    So far I really like MW2 =) I played multiplayer and special mission so far. Seriously... I give a shit about the singleplayer in CoD. I hate this script-KI system.

    I played it for the first time today. Maybe I was just too tired, because I don't know the maps and rushed too often, but I suck so far. Oh I better wait for Bad Company 2 =)

    In MW2 I was best as sniper and... it's so much fun to play with the riot shield! It's so awesome and soooo much fun. It's like trolling... Well I'm not into trolling, but it's sooo much fun!!!! =D

    You mock other players, because they can hardly hurt you. You come closer and closer and than... BAM! You give them two hard punshes with your shield and they're dead. It's fun to see them run away like little kids because they fear you. However... it's so easy to kill someone who has a shield, but they just don't know it xD

    Or you come closer... get into some defense. You switch your weapon and than BAM! You surprise him with a shotgun or SMG.

    I never gave much about about high k/d ratios, but I really screwed it up this time xD xD
