Yeah thanks to everyone who supported me in the VCAs and I'm so thankful and honored to see me for the first time in the finals. Especially in a category that I care (Best Horror). You all make me smile =)

Actually I have way more to say about the finals and me being in them, but I need to rephrase my words first.

BATTLEFIELD BAD COMPANY 2!!!!!
Holy shit. It's so great. Do you got some friends to play? Grab them and make a squad of max. 4 and it's super awesome. Alone it's still really enjoyable, but the real fun comes in a squad of friends which is more or less the best weapon in the whole game. When you are coordinated than you will give the enemy teams a hard time.
This game is a really great alternative for MW2 and I love it way more. I played the first part of the game for 5 days and more. I play this demo (only one level) for 10 hours already because the game is just so much fun.
I love how they rebalanced it and everything. Just the apache choppers are a real pain in the ass. I didn't found a way to kill them fast yet. Basically you can't damage them with infantry weapons which makes them strong. Oh yeah and the weapons got even more effective. If you are in an apache with a good pilot and mechanic the enemy team will struggle with you two. That needs balance in my eyes because it is even hard to kill with a AA tank. Maybe there come more good AA vehicles in the full version.
What I dislike is that you never know how much HP you actually have left. You can't know it. It's a recovery system like Gears of War, but you still seam to have some sort of HP which everybody can see except you. Great... =/
What the HP system doesn't change: No matter how many HP you think you have, you will definatly don't want to get into enemies fire lines. Oh you don't even notice it when you heal yourself with a medi-pack. Eh??? So why do we need HP at all?
Medi pack spam? Not as much as in part one. You throw one and than it needs time to refresh before you can throw another one.
Repair spam? Not possible! The repair kit also overheats!
Teamplay? It got even more tighter. The mechanic and medic are two different classes. You need to tag vehicles for the rocket launchers. You need to resuply your friends with amo and medicin. You need to bring them BACK TO LIFE with a devi. You need to scout the area with your scouter balls or inform your team about an incoming threat with pressing Select (360 version) when you see them.
You simply don't see the enemies on the radar if you hit them once. You need to scout them and if you use your recon scouter balls than you see them for a short time when they are in motion.
Weapons? For now every weapon seamed to be usefull for me. That wasn't the case in part one if you ask me.
Classes? HUGE varity compared to part 1. Perks, weapon upgrades, weapon varities, tool varities. You know... I always wanted to play my Recon with a shotgun. Now you can =P
Though some weapons are limited to the main classes. Like... the light machine guns for the medics. Ever wanted a 1x scope on your sniper rifle? Now you can do it. Ever wanted a 12x scope on your sniper rifle? Now you can have it.
Bad Company 2 is simply THE bomb. I give it instantly a 5/5 for it's great multiplayer. However I fear that the single player campaign gets to serious. The campaign in the first part was so damn funny. It always reminded me of my cumpalsory military service. It just felt like me going to war with my buddys during that time xD
The B-company are naiv heros with unique characters who fought for their own to find gold behind enemy lines, beacause they wanted to get rich and fullfill their own dreams. The one wanted a boat, the other one wanted a fucking Truck-o-saurus Rex. The third one was the new guy and just stumbled into the action and the sarge? He had a just a view days before his military time was over, but he helped his team because deep inside they are his best friends. Which lead the team of 4 into an exciteing advanture with a lot of jokeing and DAMN! The escaped a tank in a tiny little golf kart! How epic is that?

This makes them all to my favourite anti heros of all time. Why should they turn serious all of a sudden? I would definatly miss them, but all those new trailers for BC 2 look serious. The same way as the new design does. There is only one video of the single player yet:

Yes it kicks ass, but why do the pump out the multiplayer stuff and hide the single player? Are they hidding a lame single player campaign? =( It looks like kick ass action, but I miss the humor!
So far I played the 360 demo and the PC beta. DON'T buy the PC version! It's crap. It's buggy, it uses way to much hardware and therefor lags. Hack I had to play it on the lowest settings on my 2.41Hz dual core, 4 GB RAM, 512MB gracard Win7 x64 laptop and it still often lags. Something went seriously wrong with the port of the Frostbyte engine. The 360 version is smooth and great. I have no doubt that it is as good on the PS3. Oh and you know what? The PC version also ships with the console versions at the same time. There is no way that they can fix the PC issues in time. Sad story for a great game.
tl;dr? -> buy Battlefield Bad Company 2, but only the PS3 or 360 version. -

I'm not a fan of your idea Exsphere. It's not bad though. However I don't like to be limited to a source as an editor. I want to make my own interpretation of a song.
The problem is that you cut down all the potential editors down to a way less amount. Are you sure that you want to risk it? Look at Project Gateway. We just can't finish it because we still have to wait on two fucking tracks. Watch out that the same thing doesn't happen to your MEP.
Oh the VCA finals are "online". At least they are announced as a news and the semis are finally closed. -

Seriously. Don't forget to vote. It's better to vote before you whine afterwards that your specific vid didn't made it into the finals. At least you gave it your personal vote and showed that you apprecite it. Maybe your vote can change everything? Who knows! -

Revolutionary my ass! It is nothing more than an iPhone that can't phone people and send MMS or SMS. Oh wow Steve Jobs!
However this thing had so much potential, but essential stuff is missing: USB, FireWire, DVI, HDMI, VGA, Stylus, Flash, multi tasking, in front camera and hand writing recognition.
Some things that would have been awesome and would make it usefull, but those things won't be too easy to implement now:
-Photoshop. Imagine that you could draw your lines on that thing with a Stylus. Awesome! but touch sensetive is not enough. You would need a mouse too. However you can connect one via bluetooth.
Why it can't work: Too low hardware power. No Stylus.
-Chat with your friends while doing... X
No built in camera, maybe there is no microphone too, there is no fucking multitasking!!!
-Monitoring in the industry
Imagine you have a big automatic complex and you are a technican who has to fix all this problems. There are programs that show you the state of your whole complex. That's really usefull. Now imagine that there is something wrong. You take your iPad, go to the specific area and you still have your iPad as small handy monitor with the program running.
No Ethernet (important stuff for this!), no Stylus, too low hardware (those things can take GB of RAM), no flash for a web application that would do the same.
-Take a note
It's your everyday school or life notice block. For all the important stuff, for all your thoughts and silly drawings.
No fucking stylus or hand writing recognition
-Imagine you are makeing a photo shooting or you are filming something. Hands down... most of the build in displays suck. I remember the display of the Canon EOS5D that I used some time ago. The display was horrible. Now you take your iPad, connect it via USB and get an awesome image/video preview of your shots.
No USB, no FireWire, low hardware for processing high ressolution footage in a good time
-You have a presentation and you just take your iPad, connect it to the beamer and BAM!
Not gonna happen. You have no DVI, HDMI, VGA or Mini Display port (personally I like those because they are all in one)

Come on guys it's not cool to just jump in and spit your whole issues with people who have issues about the VCAs over us and than come up with stuff like:
