Oh what is this? Furstration day approaching? Yay... all hail the 14th February!
Fuck this shit.
It's a day like every other day. If you only are romantic and pay some attention to your relationship than you're pretty much a moron. You don't need a special day for this.
Oh why I'm so cynic? Guess what! I was NEVER together with somebody on any V-day. This day has still a symbolic meaning to me. I just want to celebrate it once for all the citch and stuff =/

Oh... I had my second Avid lesson today and I have to say: Ugh. Yeah there are some really nice pros about this program, but the handling is just retarded. I mean... Drag&Drop might promote sloppy working, but hell! To work sloppy is up to everybody himself and the company who finaly gives him the job. Heck... Combine Avid Media Composer with the handling of Premire Pro and you have pure win. I seriously can't imagine to create AMVs with Avid due to it's handling. Almost everything else, but no AMVs.

job #1: System admin and consulting
Yeah I'm basicaly the IT-chef of a small firm now and have to buy hardware and set everything up. This means setting up a website, server, mailserver and laptops. Oh and further services on the network and server. Nice.

job #2: Being part of an indie film project
So it's official. I'm part of an indipendent film project and actually will get some money out of it. I will work on the trash-horror movie "Bloody Monster" which is produced by www.mitternachtsfilm.com
My work will include:
-film poster (A3)
-trailer
-postproduction VFX
-DVD Label + Cover
-Of course BR label + Cover
-DVD/BR menue
This does make me to a pro somehow, right? Because I make money out of the hobby, right? Oh and [LGS] really might get a business in the next weeks, due to tax advantages for job #1.
All in all job #2 is horribly payed, but for me it's about the experience and the connections. Now I can borrow HD equipment for my own smaller productions which is very nice. NIN-remixes motivate me to make some smaller Live Action music videos with self produced material.

Yeah I thought about producing a major amv release for Big Contest 2010, but seeing all this work comeing to me that I will probably only make one major amv release this year and that would be my AniNite video. However I will try to make more for:
