I used to hardly believe in this theory. Or let's say: I didn't understand it unless I noticed it on myself. Today I still doubt that there is a lot of escapeism in reading mangas and watching animes.
Games require your attention. So you give them your attention and the reward is... fun! There could be escapeism in hard work too, but well... you have to be the right person for this. Games are much easier for escapeism. When you focus yourself on something else, than there is no room for bad thoughts and feelings. -

My external drive shut down yesterday after a 2 hours long rendering session. Eh... too bad that an half hour was still left. However... this would have been a 60GB file. It's alright to shut down at such an enormous process, right? Maybe just VDM hung up and after my drive didn't got to do anything, it just shut down. Well maybe =/
I hope it was just my harddrive, because I will let my work station render it alone onto the internal drive. I don't really want to split up my video into two halfs. -

Okay... this movie totaly caught me. If you are me and you have a 5 disc Ultimate Collector's Edition of Blade Runner, you just have to make something out of it!
I got a copy of a dvd today! It's a copy of the promotion video of a popular german convention (Connichi) where I played a part in it. It's awesome. That's the kind of stuff that I would like to make too for another convention. Well... I'll just record a lot of material and than I will see what we'll make out of it.
